The Lynx attack quad was a type of quad vehicle used by various small factions and independent mercenaries during the Cruentusian War. Its original designer was unknown, but it was produced by Simiyar Tech and a variety of other manufacturers. Originally intended as a civilian vehicle, it was used by mercenaries due to its ruggedness, durability and its ability to handle almost any terrain. Although nominally unarmed, it was easy to fix it with weaponry. Capable of outrunning nearly every other ground vehicle of the day, it was used for hit-and-run attacks, and sometimes as a kamikaze vehicle.
