Lux Bonteri was the son of former Separatist senator Mina Bonteri until she was assassinated by Count Dooku's thugs. Soon after that, he renounced Dooku's Separatists and joined the Galactic Republic, where he was taken care of by his mother's old friend, Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo. Soon after he joined the Republic, he wanted to sign up for the Republic but was rejected many times, so he decided to sign up for a Republic super soldier program led by Dr. Sionver Boll, who created an advanced super solider suit that enhanced the wearer's strength, speed and agility. Once he put on the suit, it made him into the perfect soldier who fought alongside many Jedi, including his secret love, Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano.
