Luke Lars was a moisture farmer on Tatooine, the father of Owen Lars, and the adoptive father of Michael Lars.
Biography[]
Luke Lars was born on Tatooine, living on a moisture farm outside of Anchorhead Station. He was a veteran of the Rim Wars, and he carried the burden that accompanied it throughout his life. He married Aika Lars and the two had a son, Owen, though Aika later died.[1]
After Aika's death, Luke adopted a second son, Michael, the son of woman named Shmi whom Luke had known for a number of years. Luke knew a secret about Michael that no one, not even Michael himself, knew about. He was also a friend of Deacon Darklighter, a Colonel in the Hutt Cartel.[1]
Personality and traits[]
Despite living in the harsh environment of Tatooine under the rule of the Hutts, Luke was a warm and kindhearted man, having gained those traits from his mother. He had a close relationship with his sons, particularly Michael, whom he worked to impart on the qualities of sincerity, kindness, and generosity.[1]
