Luca Georges was a noted female Pantoran Holofilm director during the Republic's Golden Age. She was on Seswenna during the Seswenna Security Crisis along with holostar Ashka Memnu for the filming of an episode of Being Arisa, which she was directing. Following the crisis, she created the holofilm documentary Lequana, bnef nlle! The Sullustans of Seswenna to highlight the plight of the Sullustans on the planet.

The character Luca Georges was created as an homage to Star Wars creator George Lucas by Aban Fiolli. The species of Pantoran was chosen to correspond to Baron N. Papanoida, who was portrayed by Lucas.
