Lopar Umnaro was a Rodian male Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order. Shortly after the beginning of the Clone Wars, he served as a Jedi General and was given command of the 79th Armored Division of the Grand Army of the Republic. Umnaro led his clone troopers at the Battle of Zanjurro, fighting alongside the 96th Legion led by Jedi General Jon Ternath. When Confederate forces led by Marshal General Yosip Zagoonga arrived, Umnaro commanded an HAVw A6 Juggernaut, attempting to charge Separatist TMAV-28 super-heavy tanks, specifically the one that Zagoonga was in. Umnaro was unsuccessful, as his Juggernaut was destroyed by overwhelming firepower, killing him in the process. The Republic ultimately lost the battle, and the vast majority of the 79th Armored Division did not survive.
