Longinus was an MC90 Star Cruiser in the New Republic Defense Fleet. In the year 15 ABY it led a task force to Fondor to destroy the Imperial Remnant fleet there in the First Battle of Fondor, but the fleet was eliminated due to the arrival of Imperial reinforcements. Longinus managed to escape the battle and was subsequently reassigned to another Republic fleet.
