Star Wars Fanon

The Lighthunters comprised the order composed of users of the light side of the Force. It was found in 21 BBY, a year following the Battle of Genonosis, by the fallen Jedi knight Sakon Tigana. The headquarter of the movement was located within an extensive cave upon the planet of Geonosis. In 16 BBY, the founder and the mentor was murdered by Darth Vader in his sleep, causing Jedi master Eekar Oki to succeed to his title.

History[]

Clone Wars[]

At a specifically undefined point of the war engaging the Galactic Republic and separatists, Sakon Tigana abandoned the Jedi Order and, upon settling down on Geonosis, he commenced the recruitment of Force-sensitive individuals and took up the training of them. Over the four years' period of his teaching, never did he show his personal weapon in their presence.

Imperial times[]

The year 17 BBY brought the first time that Sakon decided to set off for a mission along with his adepts. In accordance to Senator Bail Organa's report, the planet of Alderaan was supposed to host the former Jedi mistress, Luminara Unduli, though in time the report itself turned out to be a plot orchestrated by the Empire. Upon his failure in the duel with the Grand Inquisitor, Sakon was transported to Styoen Prime, where his apprentices eventually freed him accompanied by one of the inquisitor, Cos Dashit, who would shortly become another individual to enter the order.

In his mentor's absence, the Lighthunters received information claiming three Jedi knights to be conveyed to the planet of Utapau, involving Eeth Koth (Dahit's previous master), Nogata, and Sophjet Cossal. The decision to run a rescue mission was made relatively quickly. In spite of Taigon — the participant in the action who held the higher rank out of the rest — being murdered by the Grand Inquisitor, Dashit and Jacken Prime managed to escape and thus save the so-far captives, excluding Eeth Koth, who stayed back there sacrificing himself for the greater good. Once Zabrak was transported to Mustafar, Governor and Prime followed his track and recaptured the man, who remained unconscious, as well as took the opportunity to take Eekar Oki, another Jedi to be taken prisoner in that place. During the escape, Koth and Governor died tragically, with the others successfully fleeing.

In the meantime back on Geonosis, Darth Vader landed close to the Lighthunter's cave, where he listlessly killed three adepts, present in the headquarter, as well as fought a duel with Jossal, after which going to Sakon Tigana's possession and murdering the man, as well, in his sleep.
