Larma D'Acy was a Human female from the planet Warlentta that served as a senior commander with the ground forces of the Resistance, a paramilitary group founded by Leia Organa first to monitor, then directly opposed the actions of the burgeoning First Order, participating in numerous large-scale conflicts between the two organizations during the ensuing war. Following the downfall of the First Order, D'Acy and her wife Wrobie Tyce both joined the crew of the Lothal-class Exploration cruiser Adventurer, then later volunteered to remain aboard the starship when it traveled into the distant future without a chance to return. Following their arrival to this future, Larma and her colleagues subsequently joined the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, where she was promoted to colonel and continued to serve aboard the Adventurer as it eventually transitioned to the command of Captain Ciena Ree.
The daughter of a noted critic of the Military Disarmament Act that had demilitarized the New Republic after the conclusion of the Galactic Civil War, Larma D'Acy was raised within the independent culture of her homeworld as the descendant of a distinguished military lineage and was eventually approached by General Leia Organa, who personally recruited her into the Resistance during its early formation. Accompanied by her wife, Wrobie Tyce, D'Acy subsequently joined the splinter faction of the New Republic during their efforts to keep tabs on the First Order, an emergent successor to the Old Empire, and she eventually became a trusted advisor of her leader. Following the sudden destruction of the New Republic capital on Hosnian Prime and the subsequent counterattack that the Resistance launched on Starkiller Base, Commander D'Acy attended a funeral hosted to honor the late Han Solo, then participated in the ensuing evacuation of D'Qar, serving as a fleet officer aboard the Raddus under the leadership of Admiral Amilyn Holdo, who she remained loyal to in the face of a mutiny led by Poe Dameron, which Larma helped put down. Following this brief schism, Larma D'Acy was among the small collection of Resistance members that successfully escaped to Crait during the Battle of Oetchi, becoming one of the few remaining leaders of the military outfit. She subsequently participated in the ensuing conflict, fleeing aboard the Millenium Falcon alongside her remaining comrades and directing C-3PO to her contact in the Outer Rim Territories.
After the Resistance relocated its central command to the jungle moon Ajan Kloss, Larma D'Acy maintained her rank as commander and continued to advise General Leia Organa, working in closer proximity to her wife during this time. During 35 ABY, D'Acy was present for multiple meetings, including the discussions related to the confirmed return of Emperor Sheev Palpatine and the funeral of Leia Organa, who's demise she notified Finn, Chewbacca and Poe Dameron to following their return to Ajan Kloss. Later, the commander participated in the strategy conference where the Resistance formulated plans to launch an assault on the planet Exegol, where the Emperor and his followers were preparing to launch their fleet of planet-destroying Star Destroyers. She went on to participate in the subsequent battle between the Final Order and Resistance, joining the ground team that launched an attack on the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer Steadfast under the command of General Finn. Although the effort to thwart the emergence of a Sith Empire initially listed towards a defeat for the Resistance, they were suddenly reinforced by a civilian fleet of new arrivals from across the galaxy that helped D'Acy and her allies to win the day. Larma later celebrated the victory with her wife back on Ajan Kloss, sharing a long kiss with Wrobie Tyce.
During the course of the following year, Commander Larma D'Acy would contribute to the galactic reconstruction efforts, providing assistance to the various campaigns against the fractured holdouts of the First Order and echoing support for the assistance efforts to reeducate its captured military personnel, personally interviewing many young officers and observing from these meetings that, for most such individuals, allegiance to the First Order had not been a matter of choice. After open conflict broke out between the Resistance and the warlike Kaleon Empire, D'Acy was made a bridge officer aboard the Lothal-class Exploration cruiser Adventurer, which housed an experimental spore drive that the Resistance sought to perfect for its military effort, serving alongside her wife. Working under the command of Captain Garan Locran, during her time aboard the science vessel, D'Acy was brought into contact with Commander Ciena Ree, but despite the initial discomfort that she demonstrated towards the former first officer — who had been stripped of her rank and sentenced to life imprisonment following her mutiny during the Battle of the Nebulas Stars, which some believed had triggered the war — Larma's feelings towards Ree improved alongside those of their shipmates. While serving aboard the Adventurer, Commander D'Acy participated in critical engagements with the Kaleon Empire, including the battle at Pahvo, where the exploration cruiser successfully delt a stinging blow to their enemies and destroyed the Sarcophagus, killing the present leader of the Empire, General Kol. Following this event, however, Larma and her comrades were transported to the mirror universe, where the commander briefly disguised herself as her counterpart. During their efforts to return to their own reality, however, the crew of Adventurer discovered their captain had in fact been his Tellurian counterpart, but despite finding themselves embroiled in the successful coup that Locran launched against the reign of Empress Philobea Micheln, Larma and the crew of Adventurer were able to successfully make the leap to the mycelium network that enabled them to return to their universe, destroying the Imperial Super Star Destroyer Thanatos in the process.
Following their return to the mainstream universe, the Adventurer crew discovered that, in the six months that had passed, the Resistance had been beaten back and decimated from their ongoing war with the fragmented Kaelon Empire. Having joined Admiral Katrila Corthwall in travelling to Station Thela 32, only to find that the starbase had been captured and occupied by House D'Gal, D'Acy and her wife were particularly horrified, having lost multiple numerous friends in the assault, but despite their grief, the two continued to serve aboard Adventurer as a final plan was formulated that involved using the spore drive aboard to map the Kaelon homeworld of Qo'noS for a future military strike under the command of Philobea Micheln, who — having been transported to the prime universe after Ciena Ree rescued her — posed as her counterpart, although it is unconfirmed whether Larma was aware of this classified fact. However, the mission turned out to be the military strike; rather than a mapping drone, the Tellurian empress had brought a hydro bomb, which she intended to detonate in a volcanic vent, producing catastrophic results. After being alerted to this, D'Acy and the other bridge crew members aboard Adventurer rallied behind Ciena Ree and her condemnation of this order that violated the principles of the Resistance, with Larma rising to demonstrate her support for the specialist when she threatened to mutiny. Following the subsequent armistice between the Resistance and the Kaelon High Council, Larma and her colleagues were awarded the Medal of the Phoenix for their services.
While en route to the planet Jelucan to retrieve their new commanding officer, the Adventurer was sidetracked in response to a distress signal from the Venture and were subsequently placed under the command of General Finn, who assumed joint leadership of the starship alongside Commander Saru. The Adventurer subsequently engaged in an investigation into a series of mysterious red bursts that brought its crew into association with the manhunt launched in pursuit of Lieutenant Sefon. Drawn into the investigation alongside her colleagues, D'Acy was particularly suspicious about the allegations levied against Sefon, having previously served alongside him, and, after helping rescue the lieutenant and his cousin Ciena Ree from Section 31, she briefly went rogue alongside the rest of the crew. After their fugitive efforts led them to discover that the threat assessment system that Section 31 utilized had developed an artificial intelligence that had gone rogue and sought to seize information that Adventurer carried which would enable it to achieve sentience, Larma D'Acy was pardoned and continued to participate in the efforts to protect the data from Control. When Ciena Ree ultimately decided to take the Adventurer forward in time to a distant future with no chance of return, Larma and Wrobie Tyce were among the officers who volunteered to accompany her and leave behind their former lives. As a result, the commander continued to serve aboard the Adventurer during the conclusive battle that broke out within the Xahea system between a fleet of drone battleships that Control had assimilated and the unlikely coalition of starships belonging to factions that included the Resistance, the Kaelon Empire and the First Order, who defended the cruiser when it then followed Ciena Ree into a temporal wormhole leading nine hundred and thirty years into the future. After their ship disappeared from its original timeframe, Larma D'Acy and her crewmates was declared dead by the Resistance, based on the testimonies of numerous senior officers, and posthumously awarded high honors for their sacrifice.
Following their arrival to the unknown future, the remaining crew aboard the Adventurer, having been separated from Ciena and Thane Kyrell — who had been piloting a defense shuttle behind his lover to guide the larger cruiser during its trip through the wormhole — found themselves forced to make an emergency crash landing on an arctic planet known as "the Colony" at the price of sustaining significant damage that left them scrambling to repair their stranding starship under the imminent danger of the parasitic ice that inhabited the surrounding region. Rising to the challenge despite the sheer enormity of their situation, Commander D'Acy then proceeded to help manage efforts made to restore the power system, relaying her instructions to various other members of the crew. She then proceeded to stand upon the ship bridge as the Adventurer attempted to make liftoff, but despite it nearly falling prey to the parasitic ice, the crew found themselves suddenly rescued by the pilots of another spacefaring vessel that revealed themselves to be Kyrell and Ciena, who had made landfall in the future one year ahead of their relieved allies. From Ciena, Larma D'Acy and her peers proceeded to learn that, in the centuries between their departure from the Xahea system and arrival to the future, the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances — the interstellar government that had emerged from the provisional administration the Resistance had been establishing when the Adventurer disappeared — had been reduced to a shadow of its former self because of the devastation caused by the Burn, an catastrophic event that had caused the galaxy to splinter into various factions and powers. Regardless, however, D'Acy remained faithful to the ideals held by the Resistance and Galactic Alliance, which the crew set out to find and succeeded in joining after several adventures to the planets Naboo and Teril, whereupon their ship underwent a refitting. Over the next few months, Larma D'Acy participated in various missions, including an excursion to Jelucan, where she proceeded to watch the T'Kal-in-ket that Ciena Ree had invoked, rising with her comrades to stand in a demonstration of silent respect for Ree after she withdrew her request for information to preserve the tentative peace on Jelucan.
