Lance Squadron, sometimes referred to as just The Lance by Benjamin Grainer, was a squadron formed by Benjamin Grainer and Osynn Honj after the former's cover as an agent for Alliance Intelligence blown in mid 2 ABY. It would largely remain non-standardized late into it's life, using whatever starfighter's the members could find. After the Thrawn Campaign Benjamin Grainer would no longer hold any command over it due to him taking over ever increasing duties as an Admiral. The squadron would be destroyed during the Battle of Rydonni with it's only survivors being Benjamin and Osynn. Eventually in memory of his squadron Benjamin would name his personal security detachment during his senatorial career The Lance.
