The Kroven were a sentient feline, bipedal humanoid species that came from the Inner Rim planet Krovenen. They had furry bodies, tails, sharp claws and a feline like face. Korven also had excellent hearing and eyesight.
The Kroven lived in five continents named Lexituo, Bissi, Miiver, Utor,and Ostaio. These countries were ruled by the Wardens, except Ostaio, which was ruled by the Divine Guardian of Kroven. In each continent was a capital city, with many small villages in the surrounding areas. The Kroven had a understanding of technology, but were mistrustful of outsiders. The Kroven remained neutral in many of the biggest Galatic conflicts.
Biology and appearance[]
The Kroven generally stood from 1.4 to 2 stranded metres high, and had feline faces. Most of their body was covered in fur, expect for their chest, stomach and pelvis area. Longer hair grew on the top of their heads. They had long tails, and generally grew their thick nails into sharp claws. Males had large protruding canines. The Kroven were sometimes mistaken for Trianii due to many of the galaxy not seeing them due to their xenophobia.
A Krovens pyschice and other qualities differed depending on what continent they were born on. Kroven from Lexituo (the Lexituions) were about 1.75 metres tall, slender and had short, light brown fur. Kroven from Bissi (the Bissi-Ain) were tall and muscular, with thick red or dark brown fur. The citizens of Miiver (the Miiv) were usually smaller, standing as 1.4 metres high. They normally had black or very dark fur. Kroven from Utor were sleek creatures with light blonde or golden coloured fur. Finally, Ostaio Kroven (the Ostaions) were tall with grey or white fur.
The Krovens sense of smell, hearing and sight were more advanced then that of most species. They could hear sounds that can be as high as 64 Hertz.
Kroven lived up to an average age of 150 for the males and 156 for females. They matured at around 25 years after experiencing growth spurts and development of their reproductive organs. The oldest recorded age of a Kroven was 178.

Government[]
The Kroven government is based around an absolute monarchy, with the Divine Guardian of the Kroven wielding complete power over the Kroven race, government and church. Below the Divine Guardian are the Wardens, warlords that rule over each continent.
Each continent on Krovenen was always kept in a constant state of civil war. These wars were originally fought for idealogical reasons, but slowly the Kroven's failing economy was only supported by the constant flow of jobs war provides. AS well as being the pillar of the Kroven's economy war enabled the Kroven leaders to control its charges more effectively.
Divine Guardian[]
The Kroven were ruled overall by the Divine Guardian of the Kroven, who is revered as a god in mortal form. The Divine Guardian had total power over the state as well as the head of the Kroven religion, known as the Yathi. The Divine Guardians seat of power was in the city of Tarjouor in Otsaio.
The position of Divine Guardian was passed on when the current Divine Guardian died. To determine the next Divine Guardian the most "pure" Kroven (normally picked from Kroven nobility) engaged in the ancient tradition Thuska. Thuska was where the five Kroven Wardens engaged in ritual combat. Thuska was originally fought to the death, with the victor then being anointed as a god. Weapons such as swords, axes and spears were used. As the Kroven became more developed the practice became increasingly more symbolic with Kroven no longer killing their opponents, clipping their nails and blunting their weapons to do so.
