Korriban Empire era

The Korriban era was a period of one hundred and forty-four years between the creation of the Sith Empire of Korriban and Liberated Systems and the end of the Jedi Wars. Beginning in 78,020 ABY with the declaration of the Sith Empire of Korriban and Liberated Systems by Evxa-Uun, the era spans right up until the end of the Jedi Wars in 78, 164 ABY. This era saw three major conflicts, the First Mandalorian War (between the New Republic and the Mandalorian Empire), the Second Mandalorian War (between the Sith Empire and the Mandalore Alliance) and the Jedi Wars (between the New Republic and Alliance and the Sith).

After the Jedi Wars, a new era followed, the Post-Jedi Wars era, beginning in 78,164 ABY.

Korriban Empire era

78,020 ABY

• The creation of the Sith Empire of Korriban and Liberated Systems and the ascension of Evxa-Uun as Dark Lord of the Korribanite Empire.

78,022 ABY

• Coruscant is attacked by the Mandalorian Empire, beginning the First Mandalorian War between the Republic and Mandalorians.
• Taris is then subsequently attacked by the Mandalorians and the Republic are forced to withdraw, leaving Taris to be occupied by the Mandalorians for three years

78,024 ABY

• The Jedi Temple on Dantooine is attacked and virtually destroyed by the Mandalorians, leaving Jedi Master Alanna Mosoro as the only survivor of the destruction of the long-standing temple.

78,025 ABY

• The Republic launch a full scale attack to reclaim Taris from the Mandalorian occupation; resulting in the destruction of the Mandalorian flagship the Tal'galar and liberation of Taris.
• In retaliation for the loss of Taris, the Mandalore strikes the fleet of Admiral Sul Sharala. Sharala's fleet is completely destroyed and the Republic's armada is significantly crippled.

78,026 ABY

• The parents of Evxa-Uun, Nurix and Alexina, are slain by the Jedi Knight Sevarii Duun on Alpheridies; in retaliation Uun attacks the Jedi Temple on Cerillia and slaughters Duun, along with Jedi Master Indui Indal.

78,028 ABY

• The Battle of Mandalore sees the death of Mandalore the Destroyer at the hands of Alanna Mosoro and the defeat of the Mandalorians, ending the First Mandalorian War after six years.
• The Mandalore Alliance is formed, signalling the end of centuries of conflict between the New Republic and the Mandalorian Empire.
• Construction begins on Tsad Station, designed to be a symbol of the Alliance and a hub for the two factions.

78,029 ABY

• The construction of Tsad Station is completed.

78,030 ABY

• Less than a year after the completion of Tsad Station and two years after the end of the First Mandalorian War, Sith Empire of Korriban and Liberated Systems destroys the station, initiating the Second Mandalorian War between the Mandalore Alliance and the Sith Empire.

78,031 ABY

• Jedi Master Alestar Cadalor, a member of the famous Six Jedi Knights, dies on Aseen'Pata.
• The Sith Empire of Korriban and Liberated Systems attacks the planet of Mandokre, provoking the Mandalore Alliance into a battle over the planet's surface. The Sith are repelled and the Alliance fleet fortifies their defences in the Outer Rim.
• Following their defeat in the Battle of Mandokre, the Sith retreat and are caught off guard by Battle of Chi'tee an attack on their controlled planet of Chi'tee. The Alliance fleet bombards the surface of Chi'tee and destroys the fleet of Admiral Zhor, the leader of the Sith Empire's fleet.
• The Mandalore Alliance continues their offensive against the Sith Empire, targetting another Imperial planet, Qwe'Patoo and destroying many of the Sith relics housed there in a raid on the planet. The strikeforce is repelled and the Alliance retreat, having done significant damage against two core Imperial worlds.

78,032 ABY

• After a gap between fighting, the Sith Empire of Korriban and Liberated Systems retaliated against the Mandalore Alliance for their attacks on Qwe'Patoo and Chi'tee and launched a full scale attack on Mandatar, crippling the Mandalorian Empire.
• The Mandalore Alliance attack another Sith Imperial world, Namaxxion, obliterating the planet's surface and rendering much of its settlements inhabitable. The majority of the New Republic fleet is destroyed in the battle, forcing the fleet under the command of Gabal Ackbar to withdraw from the conflict.

78,033 ABY

• The Sith Empire attacks the Mandalorian controlled moon of Atlantica, destroying the defenses before pressing on to attack Kamino, where the last of the Mandalorian forces marshalled to fight against the Sith.
• The Sith Empire launch their assault on Kamino, led by Evxa-Uun himself. The Dark Lord and Mandalore Zandous Ordo fought in single combat, with Uun defeating Ordo and decapitating him. The Mandalorians are defeated and left leaderless, with Zaron Fett also slain in the battle.

78,048 ABY

• Rattataki Jedi Master Q'Shar Bureen, a member of the famous Six Jedi Knights, dies on Rattatak.

78,055 ABY

• Gabal Ackbar, Mon Calamari Grand Admiral New Republic, dies on Coruscant.

78,085 ABY

• Dun Vittas, Jedi Master, is born on Taris.

78,099 ABY

• Mandon Durandu, future Jedi Master and member of The Six, is born on Taris.

78,100 ABY

• Alran Dilu, legendary Jedi Master, dies on Taris.

78,111 ABY

• Darth Ithericius, Chagrian Sith and fourth Dark Lord of the Korribanite Empire, is born on Champala.

78,132 ABY

• Elanna Durandu, future Jedi Knight and later Sith Apprentice, is born on Taris.

78,142 ABY

• Jarn Durandu, future Jedi Knight and Master who fought in the Jedi Wars, is born on Taris. His mother Lirecila dies in childbirth.

78,145 ABY

• Dark Lord of the Korribanite Empire Evxa-Uun dies on Korriban and is succeeded by his apprentice, Darth Drakenaereus.
• The construction of Greedin Base, a New Republic military base established on Greedin as an outpost, is completed.
• Nawbacca, a male Wookiee, is born on Kashyyyk.

78,160 ABY

• Hish'Pash, a Quara Aqualish Jedi Knight, is born on Ando.

78,162 ABY

• Mandon Durandu is killed by Darth Salidius on Taris.
• Greedin Base, a Republic military base, is destroyed by the Sith warfleet, initiating the Jedi Wars.

78,163 ABY

• Dahs Chee, a Chagrian Jedi Knight and later Master, is born on Champala.
• The Sith Empire of Korriban and Liberated Systems blockades the Ebyon system, leading to a large scale space battle between the Sith fleet led by Darth Salidius and a Republic contingent led by Jedi Knight Jarn Durandu.
• Darth Salidius escapes to the surface of Ebyon VI were a battle between the Sith and New Republic forces is fought on the planet's surface. Jedi Knight Jarn Durandu and Salidius duel and Salidius is slain, resulting in a Republic victory and the liberation of Ebyon VI from the Sith Empire.
• General Crantus Levoncro of the New Republic leads the Republic fleet to defend Ebyon V from an impending Sith Empire attack led by Commander Lurall Virceii. The Sith are defeated and Ebyon V is liberated.
• The Ebyon Federation signs an alliance agreement with the New Republic following the liberation of Ebyon IV and Ebyon V.
• The Dark Lord of the Korribanite Empire Darth Drakenaereus leads a large fleet to the Republic-controlled planet of Meraldii III. The Republic fleet in the Ebyon system rushed to the defence of the planet, bolstered by Mandalorian reinforcements. The Alliance fleet and majority of their forces are destroyed in the ensuing battle, with General Crantus Levoncro slain by the Sith Lord. The surviving Alliance forces retreat and Meraldii III is captured by the Sith Empire.
• Jedi Knight and Republic commander Elanna Durandu leads a force to take the Sith-controlled planet of Annith, where Commander Lurall Virceii and a strong Imperial army were entrenched. The Imperial commander is slain by Durandu and the Sith are temporarily driven off the planet.
• Elanna Durandu's transport convoy is attacked by the Revenant, a Sith Kratos cruiser commanded by Darth Drakenaereus. Durandu's bodyguards are slain and she is captured and tortured by Drakenaereus, eventually succumbing to the dark side of the Force.

78,164 ABY

• Ashij Daa, a female Bpfasshi Rogue Sith, is born on Bpfassh.
• After an almost year long stalemate in fighting between the New Republic and the Sith Empire, the Republic launches an attack on the Sith-controlled planet of Syst, Siege of Syst the planet. The Republic, with the aid of Systian rebels, are victorious, triggering the Systian Rebellion which eventually resulted in Systian freedom from the Sith Empire.
• Following their liberation of Syst from the Sith Empire, the Republic fleet launches another assault on the neighbouring planet of Styaros VII, also controlled by the Sith Empire. The Sith imperial forces are ousted from the planet, resulting in independence for Styaros VII and the Stympogians.
• The New Republic and their Mandalorian allies launch an attack on Destudii, where the Dark Lord of the Korribanite Empire Darth Drakenaereus and his new apprentice Elanna Durandu had gathered their fleet and army. Jedi Knight Jarn Durandu and Jedi Master Dagaros Virethi lead the Republic strikeforce and clash with Drakenaereus and Durandu on the planet's surface at Aturan Temple, resulting in a duel between the two Jedi and Sith. Elanna Durandu is defeated by her brother but refuses to kill him, redeeming herself before she is slain by Drakenaereus. Jarn Durandu and the Sith Lord engage in a lightsaber duel, with Durandu defeating Drakenaereus and executing him by means of sai cha, ending the Jedi Wars conflict.
