The Koolachians were a race of cone-headed humanoids native to the Inner Rim planet of Koolach. They bore a strong resemblance to the Cereans of Cerea.

Biology and appearance[]

The Koolachians were fair-skinned humanoids with cone-shaped heads, two brains, two hearts, and yellow eyes. They stand 2 meters in height.

Society and culture[]

Koolachians could work for any affiliation and occupation, and could speak their own native language. They could speak Basic. They were also the makers of the Koolachian silk.

History[]

The Koolachians were the sentient descendants of a non-sentient primate species. They evolved on Koolach, a temperate planet located in the Koolach system within the Airon sector in the Inner Rim. Their homeworld was explored sometime between 20,000 BBY and 15,000 BBY, during the Great Manifest Period and settlement of Trailing Sectors. It fell into the area of space known as The Slice. They shared their home sector with many other species, including the Amarans, the Ithullans, and the Zeltrons. It became a part of Republic Space during the Clone Wars. In 25 ABY, their homeworld's population was up to 1 billion, the same year the Yuuzhan Vong invaded their home galaxy. Their homeworld became a part of Darth Krayt's Sith Empire in 137 ABY.
