Kon-Na Suun was an Iktotchi male, born on the homeworld of his species, who was given to the Jedi Order at birth and trained in the ways of the Force. After receiving some basic training under Qu Rahn on Iktotchon he was taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant where he was selected to become a member of the second Jedi Covenant along with four other padawan's. To facilitate this, he was given Jedi High Council member Kit Fisto as a Master. Though Fisto trained Suun to the best of his abilities, his new responsibilities as a High Jedi General called him away from the training frequently and so Suun picked up the slack by studying on his own. When his master was killed—as one of the first victims of the Great Jedi Purge—Suun fled Coruscant for his life and spent many years jumping from system to system before finally settling down on Nar Shaddaa where he was found be Vima-Da-Boda who continued his training.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Born on Iktotch, the homeworld of his species, Kon-Na Suun was identified as being strong in the Force many years before his birth by the very parents who would eventually conceive him. After giving birth, Suun's parents immediately took their son to the Jedi Temple located on Iktotchon where he was inducted into the Katarn Clan under the tutelage of Jedi Master Qu Rahn; himself a former member of the clan. Though the clan stayed at the temple on Iktotchon for six years, during which time Suun learned basic lightsaber skills and was given his first training lightsaber, Rahn eventually moved the group back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant where he handed them over to the Jedi Council so that he could focus on anti-terrorist activities.
Suun and his clanmates moved through many Jedi Masters during their time at the temple, including Grand Master Yoda and Jedi librarian Jocasta Nu, learning both how to use the Force and the lore of the Jedi Order. It was here that Suun's precognitive abilities shone and he, along with Iguni and several others with similar abilities, were singled out by the Jedi High Council to form a new Jedi Covenant—beings with the ability to see the future in order to prevent the growing darkness that several members of the council foresaw. As such, Suun was assigned to Master Kit Fisto upon Fisto's elevation to council member due to Coleman Trebor's death at the Battle of Geonosis. Though Fisto had only trained one padawan before being assigned Suun, he eagerly took on the assignment and tried to further Suun's abilities with the Force—and, through it, his skills with the training lightsaber—as well as training Suun to pilot a starfighter; in particular, the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor.
Clone Wars[]
However, Fisto's duties as a Jedi General of the newly-formed Grand Army of the Republic meant that he was not able to fully focus on his padawan's training and so Suun was frequently assigned tasks which would keep him busy whilst Fisto led his troops from the front. Indeed, during Fisto's foray on the water-world of Mon Calamari, Suun was sent to Ilum so that he could find an Adegan crystal for the construction of his first real lightsaber. Though this was designed to keep Suun safe while his training was completed, an unexpected attack on Ilum by Separatist chameleon droids had Suun seeing his first real battle, despite his lack of a real lightsaber. Luckily, Suun was not alone in the fight and so the focus of the droids lay largely on the other Jedi who were present. This skirmish would turn out to be for the best, however, as Suun was drawn towards a cluster of Adegan crystals which had been unearthed during the fight; it was the finest of these that he selected as the focusing crystal for the lightsaber he would soon construct.
When Fisto learned of the danger he had accidentally placed Suun in, he decided to devote more of his time to his padawan and so the next few months were spent teaching Suun how to construct his lightsaber. Though the process was long and grueling, Suun saw it through and was soon the owner of a brand new lightsaber. With his new-formed weapon, Suun accompanied Fisto to the cloning world of Kamino where the two met up with Aayla Secura and learned of a nano-virus which was killing clone troopers. While Fisto and Secura were tracking down the creator of the virus, Suun was ordered to search for any unusual activity in the city; he soon found just that, as he noticed a Kaminoan being escorted through the hallways by two B2 super battle droids. After informing his master of his sighting, he followed the group to a landing pad where Fisto and Secura caught up with them. Although Suun had been an asset up to this point, he was ordered to stay out of the following fight as Secura and Fisto stopped the Kaminoan from leaving the planet. It was after this skirmish that Suun witnessed the two Jedi seemingly flirting with each other, though he did not bring it up with his master.
Fisto and Suun returned to Coruscant, successful in their mission, but sadly Fisto's duties soon meant that he had to again leave his padawan in the care of others as he was assigned a dangerous mission to Devaron where he was charged with decimating a Separatist foundry along with several other Jedi Knights and Masters. Rather than furthering Suun's Force abilities, however, Fisto assigned his personal Delta-7 to Suun so that his padawan could further his skills as a pilot. As Fisto was unable to perform these training duties himself, he asked for the help of fellow Jedi Master Saesee Tiin, who was both a renowed Jedi ace and a member of Suun's own species. This training would last longer than expected, however, as Fisto was assigned an undercover mission to Ord Cestus after returning from Devaron where he was to pose as a Dark Jedi in order to stop the Seperatists from getting their hands on JK-13 "Jedi Killer" combat droids.
Though Tiin was largely known to use his own ship, the Sharp Spiral, he was also familiar with the Delta-7 and indeed—like other Jedi—he had a personalized starfighter of his own. The two Iktotchi were quick to bond, and Tiin was able to teach Suun to be an excellent pilot; for a padawan. During this training, however, Tiin learned that Fisto's starfighter had not been upgraded with the new weapons package and hyperdrive unit which he had designed for the Delta-7s and so he set about upgrading Fisto's fighter so that he could also teach Suun the rudimentary knowledge of plotting hyperspace jumps. Sadly, Tiin was unable to procure the quad-pulse laser cannons necessary for the full upgrade, but he was able to install a class two hyperdrive unit in the starfighter so that it no longer needed to use the Syluire-31 hyperspace docking ring to get from one planet to another.

Kit Fisto's Delta-7.
Indeed, by the time that Fisto returned from Ord Cestus, Suun had become quite proficient with the starfighter, and had even built up a rapport with its R4-P-series astromech droid, R4-P07. Despite the fact that Fisto had been injured during his undercover stint, he once again returned to his duties as Suun's Jedi Master. After testing Suun's piloting abilities, with Suun flying the Delta-7 and Fisto flying his newly-created Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor, Fisto decided that he was proud of his padawan's skills—though that was to be expected, given his species' natural abilities in a cockpit—and so handed ownership of the Delta-7 down to Suun. Following this, however, Suun's training moved back to matters relating to the Force and he finally started the training that the council had originally singled him out for; Farseeing. Though Fisto himself was not naturally gifted in this area, he knew the theory and was able to pass this along to his padawan.
Again Fisto was called away from his duties as a Master to attend to a dangerous mission; the Jedi Order had learned that a bounty had been placed on all living Jedi by the Crimson Nova and so put together a strike team including Fisto who would enter Crimson Nova's base of operations on the Rig and put an end to the bounties. Before Fisto left, however, Suun had a cryptic vision which he knew was meant for his master; before leaving, Suun told his master that he should believe the best in people, as everyone deserved a second chance. Though the vision meant nothing to either Suun or Fisto at that time, it would later prove to be useful on Fisto's next mission when he and Plo Koon had to quell an uprising of an underwater prison. Thanks to Suun's cryptic vision, Fisto put his trust in one of the inmates who helped them put down the riot and, indeed, saved both Fisto and Koon from the Gen'Dai bounty hunter Durge by shooting him in the back.
The new Jedi Covenant[]
While Fisto was away on these two missions, Suun met up with fellow padawan Iguni, and his friends Zeami and Zoi. While Suun discovered that he shared many of the same strengths and weaknesses in the Force as Iguni did, he also noted that the two had little else in common; while Iguni seemed to want to use the Force to become more powerful, Suun simply wanted to learn in order to help others. Nevertheless, Suun quickly warmed to the trio of padawans and started studying alongside them while his Master was gone. It was during this time that Suun learned that it was unusual for a padawan to own his own Jedi starfighter, which caused Zeami to hold him in awe as she wanted to pilot one herself. Wishing not to distance himself from his new friends, Suun allowed Zeami to have a quick jaunt in his starfighter to see how good a pilot she was. Unlike Suun, however, Zeami was not a natural pilot and it showed in her flight; though she was able to take off and pilot the starfighter a short distance—with the help of R4-P7—when she came in to land she clipped the side of a building causing some minor damage to the starfighter. Hoping that his master would not find out about this accident, Suun set about repairing the damage himself and was able to do so mere hours before Fisto returned to Coruscant.
Though Fisto did indeed learn what had happened to the starfighter, he was pleased that Suun had taken it upon himself to fix the problem and so he did not punish his padawan and instead acted like he never knew. Again Fisto set about furthering Suun’s precognitive abilities, this time calling in Iguni, Whie Malreaux, Zett Jukassa, and another padawan who would form the new Covenant. The five padawans, with the help of their masters, were able to further hone their abilities and together were able to predict the death of millions above a jungle planet infested with the dark side of the Force. They were unable to garner more information than this, however, as their skills were not yet attuned enough.
Before they were able to search the future for more information, however, a massive Separatist fleet appeared above Coruscant and every Jedi was called to participate in the ensuing battle. Suun was ordered to take his Delta-7 into the air to fight off the Separatist fleet whilst his master fought on the ground and tried to stop the capture of Palpatine. When Fisto was unsuccessful in his mission, he quickly commed Suun and ordered his padawan to help Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker get the Chancellor back. Suun immediately set about destroying the battle droids chasing Kenobi and Skywalker, helping them make it safely on board the Invisible Hand. After seeing them safely onboard, Suun went back into the fray and was able to destroy several more fighters before the battle's end, even aiding in the destruction of the Tide of Progress XII.
After the battle, Suun met up with his master and the two exchanged their accounts of the battle; though Fisto was pleased with his padawan, he was called away to a council meeting before he could tell Suun about the Jedi Covenant he was being trained to enter. Rather than head back to his studies, Suun instead searched out his newly-made friends Iguni, Zeami, and Zoi only to learn that Zeami had lost an arm in the battle and that Iguni blamed himself for getting his friends hurt. This had sparked a change inside Iguni, however, whose attitude soon changed so that it was more in tune with Suun’s; he no longer wished to study the Force to seek power, but instead to protect others from being hurt.
Suun went on to help Iguni in his training over the following few days, honing his lightsaber skills to the point where Iguni’s own master, Mace Windu, praised Iguni’s progress. It was soon after this that Iguni came running to Suun with dire news; he had had another vision, one that seemed far more imminent than their previous group vision. While speaking with the hero Skywalker, Iguni had foreseen that the hero would become a dark figure who would kill Iguni personally. While Suun wanted to go to his master with this information immediately, Iguni convinced him to wait while he made sure he hadn’t simply misinterpreted the vision. By the time he was sure, however, Fisto and three other Jedi Masters had been dispatched to capture Chancellor Palpatine and so were unable to be contacted.
The Great Jedi Purge[]
Soon after this, however, Suun felt his master's death in the Force and immediately knew that something terrible was about to happen. Quickly running to his Delta-7, he commed Iguni and informed him that he believed the vision was about to come true; Suun never discovered what Iguni did with this information. As Suun was lifting off from the Jedi Temple, he saw a legion of clone troopers being led towards the temple led by a solitary hooded figure; though he was unable to identify the figure from so far away, he felt sure it was indeed Anakin Skywalker as Iguni had foreseen. Unable to do anything for his fellow Jedi, Suun fled the planet Coruscant and jumped randomly into hyperspace, hoping for the best.
Little is known of Suun’s next few years, other than that he continued to run for his life and was able to escape the notice of Palpatine’s Galactic Empire; indeed, he was presumed one of the many Jedi casualties of Operation: Knightfall, despite his body never being found. Though Suun heard random reports of other surviving Jedi, such as his former master Qu Rahn searching for a mythical Jedi shrine or Halagad Ventor being captured by the newly-formed Galactic Empire, he always arrived at their locations just too late to catch them, leading him to believe that the reports were mere rumors and he was indeed the last of the Jedi.
Eventually, Suun settled down on the planet Nar Shaddaa, deciding that it was far enough out that nobody would come looking for him there and, even if they did, the abundance of life on the planet would make him nigh on impossible to find. He would soon discover that he was not the only Jedi to have this plan, as he was pulled into an alleyway by a woman who looked like a street beggar. Initially wary of this woman, Suun’s hand dropped to his lightsaber before she identified herself as fellow Jedi Vima-Da-Boda, an ancient Jedi Master who could sense that the Force was strong within Suun. While Suun was still wary of this woman he didn’t know, he accepted her offer to train him in the use of the Force and the two were able to hide Suun’s Delta-7 near Vima’s lair.
Wanting to pay tribute to his former master Kit Fisto, while also wanting to hide his Jedi heritage somewhat, Suun took to changing his Jedi robes somewhat and dyed them a green color, also changing their design slightly from the traditional Jedi robe. Not wishing to lose the only remaining member of the Jedi Order he knew, Suun also searched through the industrial garbage on his new home until he came across the chassis of an R5-series astromech droid. Lacking the necessary knowledge to attach the head of R4-P07 to this chassis, however, Suun had to hire the help of a local mechanic to both to do this and also to create the necessary socket in the Delta-7 so that the droid could still serve as Suun's co-pilot. Unfortunately for Suun, the mechanic recognized the design of the Delta-7 and assumed from there that Suun himself was a Jedi Knight. Though he kept this knowledge to himself, it was only a matter of time before someone with enough credits came along to convince him to share what he knew.
