The Knight of Darkness was a character in the tale of the Knight of Darkness.
In the legend, the Knight of Darkness left the known world a friend of the Angel of Light, but returned a conqueror. He slaughtered many of the Angel of Light's armies and thoroughly defeated him, only to be drawn into another conflict with the Angel of Light as his ally.
