Master Kit Fisto was a Jedi Master during the period before and during the Clone Wars. A fierce wielder of the lightsaber, Kit Fisto had a sense of humour and optimism that too few Jedi posessed. Mixed with his skills as a general and his light-hearted personality, Kit Fisto was a well-liked member of the Jedi Council, and was liked by even some citizens of the Republic.

Early life[]
Born on the acquatic planet Glee Anselm, Kit Fisto was brought to the Jedi Temple at a young age. Becoming known for his sense of humour, Kit was still devoted to the Jedi, and became a potent lightsaber user. Training to become a Jedi Consular, Kit learnt under the highly prestiged Grand Master Yoda, and in 41 BBY, when Jedi Master Tahl died, Fisto took his first apprentice, a female Mon Calamari padawan named Bant Erin. When he later ascended to the rank of Master, he took another apprentice named Nahdar Vebb, also one of the Mon Calamari.
After serving as an advisor to the newly elected Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, Master Fisto became friends of a Jedi Knight named Jeden Vesal, a brilliant swordsman who shared Fisto's optimism and sense of humour. It was with Vesal that Fisto thought during the Battle of Geonosis, when the two travelled alongside Master Mace Windu and nearly a hundred other Jedi to rescue Master Obi-wan Kenobi, the Padawan Anakin Skywalker and the senator Padme Amidala. After fighting beside his friend in the Arena, Fisto led his own group of Clones on the plains of Geonosis, and was one of the Jedi who remained on the planet for some time to make sure the droid factories nearby were destroyed.
Clone Wars[]
For the first year of the Clone Wars, Fisto was on the frontlines constantly, one of his biggest engagements being the Battle of Mon Calamari, his first battle as a General and one of the best victories for the Republic in the long term, as the result made the Sepratists on the planet surrender and join with the Mon Calamari, earning joint representation on the Galactic Senate.
Fisto later returned to the Jedi Temple for some time, training Younglings to use a lightsaber and teaching them the ways of the Consular alongside his former master, Yoda. Jeden also returned to the Temple at this time, and often met with the other Jedi alongside his squad. Jeden helped Kit train Younglings, and even held a demonstration of two lightsabers dueling one another for a privilleged class.
Personality and characteristics[]
Kit Fisto posessed a subtle sense of humour and optimistic attitude that was rare among Jedi. This happy mindset made him quite popular among Younglings, though he was also very wise, and was considered a vital member of the Jedi Council.
Kit Fisto was a Nautolan, an acquatic species with long head tentacles and enormous, black eyes. Fisto had green skin, a round head and a slim body, and wielded a single green lightsaber, though he also used dual lightsabers multiple times, with one of these times being during a duel with General Grevious on the moon of Vassek.
