The Kiss of Death was the flagship of the Sith Overlord Vedya Gasald during the New Sith Wars. It was the largest ship in her fleet, though she often preferred to keep it safely within the fleet rather than on the front lines for major battles. Gasald had a throne room aboard, as well as private quarters with a chaise longue and an aqueduct of fresh blood which circulated through the room.
The Kiss of Death was present for the conquest of Allanteen Six and fought (on a secondary line) at the Battle of Eriadu, under the captaincy of Noso Geshi. In 1,385 BBY, Republic agents Vesta, Neeric, and B7-Q4 snuck aboard, and successfully transmitted access codes for the ship's hangar bay to their counterparts on the shipyards. While the ship lay in port at Allanteen, a Jedi strike team snuck aboard, most of the team confronting Gasald in her throne room while the others set out to sabotage the ship. The sabotage team rescued Neeric and blew up the ship's shield generators, after which Darth Kra'all maneuvered allied cruisers into a shielding formation; when B7-Q4 activated the ship's tractor beams at full power, they dragged the cruisers into the Kiss of Death, destroying it.
Most Sith and Jedi believed Gasald to have been killed in the explosion, and the fall of the Kiss of Death decapitated Gasald's largely-centralized command structure, forcing the surviving ships and Sith Lords to order a retreat to Eriadu.
