The Keepers of the Binding were a mysterious organization of Nightsisters who took on the burden of learning and keeping the secret of the Binding, an ancient Force ritual that allowed its users to cheat death by transferring their consciousness into a different body. The organization was headed by Talzin. When Talzin taught Yula Ardinn the Binding, Yula was made an honorary member of the Keepers.
