The Kedd'ej War, also known as the Mandalorian-Kedd'ej War, and popularized as the Second Mandalorian Wars, was a pan-galactic conflict that occurred when the Kedd'ej Covenant, a coalition of species that were once been pushed to near extinction by the ancient Mandalorians sought vengeance on the Mandalorian people and destruction of their culture.
Background[]
During the one of the crusades conducted by the ancient Mandalorians around 200 BBY, they led numerous species to the edge of extinction, to include but not limited to the Ithullan, Varren, Havaar and many others. Rendering their homeworlds uninhabitable and reducing the populations significantly, the remnants fled, colonizing other worlds. A few generations later, a child of survivors was approached by an emissary in 217 ABY, convinced to lead a holy war of vengeance upon the Mandalorian people he enlisted the aid of other races devastated by the Mandalorians, eventually the coterie would become known as the Kedd'ej Covenant.
Aftermath[]
After the death of Mandalore the Crusader, while many of the Mandalorians chose to hunt down remnants of the Covenant, majority chose to return to Mandalorian space in order to rebuild. By doing so, many across the galaxy, including the Yadavi spacer Sakina Khari, would rarely see a Mandalorian mercenary and so thought they had lost their fighting spirit, or were near-extinct after the loss of their leader.
