Kasryd was a planet located in Wild Space. Located in the unmapped region, Kasryd was a very difficult planet to find by using a standard galactic map.
Kasryd orbited a G-type main sequence star known as Iveel, being the fourth planet in the system. However, it was a fair enough distance from the other planets to avoid major orbital perturbations.
Being very suitable for life, Kasryd was often visited by species in need of retreat. However, uncontrolled by a specific government, the planet was a suitable place for an outpost or station.
Civilizations thrived on Kasryd in the very early times, and left behind very interesting artifacts many would give their lives for.
Kasryd was orbited by two moons, Kalos and Vremios. Kalos was a small, rocky spheroid with priceless minerals beneath the surface. However, both moons are subject to tidal heating within their orbit of Kasryd. Both moons help stabilize Kasryd.
Lying in the middle of the habitable zone, Kasryd was kept warm by its host star.
Landscape & Terrain[]
All throughout the planet, Kasryd had a lush and beautiful terrain. Most of the planet was covered by lush forests, plains, and jungles. Interesting life roamed the planet everywhere. From sentient felines to chemical-based plants, the landscape of Kasryd was not something to be taken granted for.
The plains of Kasryd were the most harbored with life. Various plants, carnivores, felines, and birds were common among the plains of Kasryd. The soil and rocks were very suitable for plant life, so explorers were very likely to encounter plant life within their visits.
Forests[]
The forests of Kasryd were massive, with some trees up to 430 feet in height. The forests were home mostly to insects. Many animals burrowed within the forests to escape predators, while some were chased after the exploers.
Plains[]
The plains of Kasryd were magnificent, and seemingly endless. Most of the plains contained chemical based plants. Various creatures roamed the plains, mostly herbivores. Vretuk were native to the plains of Kasryd.
Jungles[]
An explorer of Kasryd
Kasryd had some of the most massive and beautiful jungles in the galaxy. Once inside a jungle, it was difficult to navigate your way out. Deadly predators roamed every jungle on Kasryd. Very few explorers survived the jungles on Kasryd without the proper protection.
