Karkarodons were sentient aquatics native to the planet Karkaris. During the Clone Wars, some supported the Confederacy of Independent Systems, like Riff Tamson, but they were treated very harshly afterwards by Emperor Palpatine and his new Galactic Empire, so many joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the New Republic.
