Biography[]
Clone of the Chosen One[]
Upon the ascension of Darth Sidious and his apprentice Darth Vader, Darth Vorath realized that he would need to be prepared in case the two Sith found out about his operations. Knowing Vader in particular was strong, being the foretold Chosen One, Vorath sought out a sample of Vader's DNA and brought it to the Kaminoans, who created a batch of clones for him shortly before being executed by the Dark Lord, who did not want any word to leak out to Sidious.
After putting the clones through a series of trials and tests, Vorath eventually found one that had none of Skywalker's weaknesses -- primarily his love for those he held dear -- as well as none of the cybernetics that now hindered Vader. Satisfied that he now had a weapon that could take down Sidious' apprentice should the need arise, Vorath named this clone Darth Nemesis and made him one of his top agents, along with the Zabrak Sith Darth Ravage, whom Nemesis would frequently be partnered with. Together, the two Sith were sent by their master to assassinate targets whom posed a threat to Vorath's plans while keeping his operations under the Empire's notice so as to not attract unwanted attention from Sidious and Vader.
Shortly after the Battle of Endor, Vorath set his plan to take over the Empire and strike against the New Republic into motion. In 5 ABY, Nemesis was sent to track down those who knew of the Valley of the Jedi's location. After Nemesis retrieved the coordinates to Ruusan, Vorath sent his operatives to destroy the Valley of the Jedi to prevent Jerec or the Prophets of the Dark Side from using it for their own designs. Nemesis was later present on Sed'tral when Jerec and his Dark Jedi arrived to be inducted into Vorath's Sith Order.
In 10 ABY, Darth Nemesis was sent to Zegris to track down Jedi Master Morin Tharr, who was rumored to know the location of the Tedryn Holocron. Upon encountering a group of Jedi on Zegris, Nemesis found out that one of them—Jedi Master Aqinos—had the holocron in his possession and proceeded to take it from the Sunesi Jedi, delivering it to Vorath. However, the holocron refused to speak to anyone that was not a Jedi, leading Vorath to send Nemesis and Ravage to find a Jedi Knight that could access the holocron. When their searches proved futile, Vorath decided to send Starkiller in their place to track down the Jedi Knight Toah Jarsan.
Pull to the light[]

Darth Nemesis
Over the course of the next fifteen years, Darth Nemesis continued to fight for his master's favor, which was constantly setback each time he failed a task for the Dark Lord. Desperate for acknowledgment as Vorath's rightful Shadow Hand, Nemesis traveled to Dromund Kaas to assassinate Espaa Valorum, ruler of the Crimson Empire. Unbeknownst to him, the Crimson Empire was in fact a creation of Vorath's and the Dark Lord had always intended on seizing control of it and remolding it into his own Sith Empire. Upon confronting Valorum in his throne room, Vorath revealed himself and proceeded to kill Valorum and reveal himself to the galaxy at large.
Realizing the long game Vorath had been playing with his numerous lies and deceptions, Nemesis began to lose faith and trust in his master. Deciding that he no longer wanted any part in Vorath's games, Nemesis seized on the first opportunity he got to betray his master when Toah Jarsan arrived on Dromund Kaas. After telling Jarsan of Vorath's plan to invade Coruscant, Nemesis accompanied the Jedi Knight back to the Core World where the Sith's battle was already underway. Together, the two of them went up against Darth Vorath and, with the help of Luke Skywalker, brought an end to the Dark Lord and his schemes.
After the battle, Darth Nemesis swore off his allegiance to the Sith and surrendered to the New Republic. However, thanks to some urging from Jarsan, the former Sith was not tried and instead offered rehabilitation under the guidance of the New Jedi Order. Nemesis agreed to this and took on the name Kane Skywalker as he set out on his new path as a Jedi.
