Kamino, also known as the Planet of Storms, was the watery world where Clone Army for the Galactic Republic was created as well as the Kaminoan Home Fleet. It was inhabited by a race of tall, elegant beings called the Kaminoans, who kept to themselves and were known for their cloning technology. Kamino was located just south of the Rishi Maze and was ruled by the Ruling Council, headed by Prime Minister: Lama Su. Tipoca City was Kamino's capital. Other cities and stations on Kamino included: Baran Wu, Su Des, Derem City, Kyran Vauhou, and Jaron Wu.
Kamino was also home to the Odeinian Rebellion, Kyrian Rebellion, and the future Clone Rebellion and Kaminoan Uprising, all of whom were all grown and trained on the watery world.
