Kamino was an aquatic and stormy world in Wild Space inhabited by the Kaminoans, a species governed by a religion that dictated it needed to ensure the continuation of life throughout the galaxy. To do this, Kamino became a large source for clone research and development, including a clone army developed for the Galactic Republic that was discovered by Jedi Master Mace Windy during the Invasion of Utapau.[1]
