The Kalla’tarucc Tribe was the preceding tribal nation that reformed into the Morsian Kingdom.
History[]
Formation[]
The Kalla’tarucc Tribe came out of the caves inside an extinct ancient volcano. This volcano had all the natural nutrients the tribe needed to live and grow, with many different edible plants that could sustain them as well as underground prey to hunt in the now dry lava tunnels of the extinct volcano. They called their settlement Volcanesis Magna, where the tribe lived in isolation.

Under Chief Gaius Pom'arnum, who later became King Gaius I, the Kalla’taruccs expanded beyond their volcano home, making smaller settlements nearby which could hunter the larger animals on the surface of the planet. The tribe continued to expand their lands until finding the coast, where coastal settlements were created and fishing was invented, allowing the Kalla’taruccs to become a big fishing civilisation. From here, they expanded along their coastal range, mapping the land around their lands.
Reformation and dissolution[]
Under King Pompinius Seq'arr III, or Pompinius III, the Kalla’tarucc Tribe decided to rename themselves into something more personal and easier to say and write. The King decreed that the tribe and its people would be known by the simple name of Morsians. He also reformed the tribe into a functionally absolute monarchy, known as the Morsian Kingdom.
Government[]
Due to their tribal status and formation, the leader of the tribe was the Chief, who was an absolute ruler over the Tribe and those in it. There were tribal nobles who had some say as a tribal council, but the Chief had final say and could not be gone against.
Language[]
- See also: Old Morsian
The Morsian people solely spoke Old Morsian, though known at the time as just Morsian. This language evolved though the Morsian lands and was not spoken by other tribes or powers outside the Tribe's borders.
Economy[]
The tribe operated with a bartering system where goods were traded for goods of either a similar worth or need, with the 'price' changing frequently between individuals.
Military[]
The tribe had no active military and the only armed individuals were the Chief, nobles and their retinue as well as hunting parties that travelled outside the Kalla’tarucc settlements to hunt.
