I guess she tried to run, but with flesh like hers it can't have been easy.
—Rico Pet, after finding Julie Taa's corps

Julie Taa was a human female of a great weight who served as the Chairperson of the Rural Housewives' Club on Kashmarr'k. In 18 BBY, she was one of a few inhabitants of her village to leave the planet during an Imperial attack, being part of Braw Neck's crew. Abandoned to live on her own, she was soon brutally murdered by Cul on the Fide Space Station, unfairly charged with the stealing of his transportation tickets.

In her youth, Julie Taa worked in agriculture, introduced to the specifics of that profession by Gienna, a close friend of hers residing in the same settlement. Togebther with her, she entered the crew that, led by a remaining Jedi Master named Braw Neck and a Separatist named Diego, left the planet during the attack by the Galactic Empire. While the former had a strong feeling towards the woman, her obesity nonetheless caused her to be abandoned on the Fide Space Station due to contributing to a number of perturbations during the escape. Equipped in a small sum of money and transportation tickets, the housewife was spotted by Cul and, accused of pickpocketing, slain with aplomb using his blaster pistol.

Biography

Early life

This is Julie Taa, Charwoman of Rural Housewives Club!
—Gienna, on Julie Ta, in a local dialect, 18 BBY

A female human, Julie Taa was born and grew up in one of the villages on the planet of Kashmarr'k. She was intruded to the specifics of agriculture, a profession prevailing in that location, by Gienna, who thereby came to recognize the young Taa as her apprentice.

The lady, however, rapidly gained weight, which conduced to the deterioration of her image. One year, she entered the Rural Housewives Club and later on assumed the function of Chairwoman.

Detention onboard of Sepich

In 18 BBY, in mysterious circumstances, Julie Taa found herself on board of a freighter named Sepich, belonging to the former Separatist Diego, who took shelter in her home village. Closed in a cell, the woman was kept under lockdown, and the reasoning behind that incident would be specified diversely depending on the witness.

In 18 BBY, Diego, Gienna, and Braw Neck, a Jedi who survive Order 66, fled from the planet Kasmarr'k on board of Sepich during the attack by the Galactic Empire. The escape and the bypassing of the blockade along the way led the fugitives to Zuomiarra, where they could repair the damaged elements. Simultaneously, Julie Taa remained closed in the cell without making any noise. Down on the planet, Braw Neck happened to clash Inquisitor Mi How, and while a certain bond connected him with his former Padawan Marr Chinn, leading them to witness a real-time visualization of each other's figure, the Jedi became injured and banged his head against the door of the storage room, causing it to open and disclose Julie Taa's presence aboard.

It did not take much until Gienna, having come in the room, recognized her apprentice, who shortly shared the story of her kidnapping. According to her claims, she was captured by a man with an astromechanical droid, none of the two coming from her home village. When Diego went it, he murmured something at the view of the liberated Julie and took a few steps backwards while the woman herself pointed at and charged him with the very capture.

Diego's explanation

First, I landed on a field, there was enough space for my ship there after all. Then, I went out to take a look around for a better lair. When I was exploring, she arrived. She went in the ship and started rooting in it until she groped my astromech. I couldn't let her break him down. I chose to lock her down and keep at least until I could find a better shelter. Of course, I cared for her so she wouldn't die from hunger, but when the Imperial arrived, there was no time to let her out…
—The incident, according to Diego

Charged with kidnapping Julie Taa by the very prisoner, Diego gave an impression of confusion, originally stating that he did not know of her presence on the freighter. However, he was reprehended by Braw Neck straightaway, who took the opportunity to refer to the fat lady as beautiful, as she gained his affection at first sight. During the subsequent dialogue, Gienna said she had thought something was wrong with Diego from the very beginning and thus entered into an argument with the boy himself, which was not over until Braw Neck interrupted. Asked why he would actually capture the housewife, the Separatist insisted that she barged into his ship and started groping his astromechanical droid while he was out, looking for a better shelter for the freighter, given he originally touched down on a field. The woman acknowledged the boy was right, much as in fact she would personally define the very incident as a capture. Further, Diego held that he was regularly feeding Julie Ta, but held back his real intent of using her as a hostage just in case. In order to authenticate his statement, he introduced the crew to his droid QT-O1.

Attack by Marr Chinn

QT-O1! So glad to see you! I see you led our ladies accurately.
—Diego, to QT-O1

When the crew left the deck, Marr Chinn — Braw Neck's former padawan — approached them and blew up the Sepich's engines, causing its complete destruction. Julie Taa and Neck leaped away accurately so as not to be damaged, while the rest were already within a sufficient distance away from the explosion. The men clashed the Inquisitor, and in spite of all the unimaginable hardness and sudden explosions coming after one another along the way, the Jedi and the Separatist incapacitated the opponent, placing him under a clump of rubble. Subsequently, they dashed up a tunnel carved within the rubble and kept running until they reached the exit and noticed QT-O1, leading Gienna and Julie Taa, on their right.

On their further way, the companions took a halt in Moridor, wherein Gienna and Diego each bought themselves a bottle of the Zuomiarra beer. Affected by alcohol, the latter recognized Julie Taa as attractive.

Escape from Zuomiarra

You had an affair, ain't ya? I know you well. Both!
—Gienna, implying an affair between Julie and Diego

The camp was pitched 20 kilometers away from Moridor, and the route to the halt point was traversed on a forklift due to Gienna's varicose veins and Julie Taa's thickness. At night, the fatter slept by the bonfire in a halfway-sitting position and in the morning brewed tea with the thinner. Braw Neck, who did not sleep throughout the night, saw them making breakfast. During his following talk with Gienna, he informed the women of his plan to set off in the search of a new transportation means with Diego, leaving the ladies behind. What he also hoped was for them not to be hunted by the Empire in case of Diego and him dying.

When left behind, the women were chatting. After Gienna's statement that she had never liked her home village, she ventured a suggestion that Diego and Taa must have had an affair, with the very kidnapping being mystified in order to cover it up. Then, a noise echoed and the birds were scared away simultaneously with a gale-force wind blow oncoming. Supposing that the Imperial Fleet might have shelled Moridor, Gienna helped Julie get up and packed her on the forklift so they could run away together.

In the meantime, the Capital City was blown up, as well, and the intensification of the explosion of Moridor made the women give up on the lift in favor of running on foot. However, they were not capable of switching it off and as a result the machine was slowly going after them. As Julie complained and feared that she would not make it, Gienna motivated her by saying that a miracle could always happen. When she looked up, she raved over the size of the planet's birds and was soon corrected by the housewife, who would rather guess it was a monster. However, the alleged monster turned out to be the ship procured by Diego and Neck, stolen from the local boy Kai Teck in order to escape with him on board. The Separatist helped the women to hop on, but it took him more to draw on Taa by reason of her fatness.

The bypassing of the blockade entailed the necessity to jump into hyperspace, which was not easy, as most ammunition was lost. During the clash, Julie Taa lost balance and banged her head on the wall, which caused her to faint. The escape, however, was successful because of Marr Chinn's futile attack.

During the travel, Braw Neck decided to consult Diego on his romantic issue. During the conversation, the Separatist went so far as to imply that Julie Taa ought to be abandoned, considering she was useless and fat and had nearly gotten them killed back on Zuomiarra. While the Jedi agreed on the need of disposing of unnecessary balast, he nonetheless did not suppose that Julie Taa might be signified by this.

Having landed on a space station spotted by himself, Diego went to a bar wherein he robbed the tender of money and pickpocketed Cul's tickets. Even before going away, he enjoined Gienna to take care of Kai and Julie, the latter referred to as a beast. He synchronized with Braw Neck back to the gunship, who had meantime purchased gasoline. The Separatist wanted to wake up the female, but she disrupted his intent by awakening herself, so he could hand her a small sum of money, suggesting that she fly away, as she was an obstacle to them, and they, to her, and she had almost led them to die on Zuomiarria. Julie futilely tried to say something, but Diego had already seen her off. As a form of protest, Neck noticed that she had come there with them, but Diego was just as convincing, asserting that no one would chase after her. In the end, he declared that even if Braw felt something to her, he needed to concur with him, as something yet worse could come were she not left. Julie Taa acknowledged the Separatist's statement, admitting to be fat and useless, but the boy not let her finish her utterance yet again. Before splitting up, Taa and Neck looked deep into each other's eyes for the last time.

Gienna, however, did not know of the abandoning of her apprentice, and when she remembered her, Diego held that leaving the fat housewife alone on the station was by incident. Nevertheless, the elder woman came to rejoice at such a course of events, content that the housekeeper did not have to suffer as much as her, locked down in a cell.

Physical appearance

This pregnant[1] woman almost got us killed on Zuomiarra. She's fat and useless!
—Diego, on Julie Taa

The dominant physical feature of Julie Taa was the astonishing obesity, manifesting itself in the big, hanging belly and breasts, as well as the double chin and the flat eyes, encircled by masses of fat all around. The obesity also necessitated Julie Taa's sleeping in a halfway sitting position, which stemmed from the problems posed by her excessive weight as she got up. The woman had a pale skin tone with brown hear and eyes, and her clothing included a blue housewife apron featuring pockets.

The over-average weight on Julie Taa aroused Braw Neck's fascination about her, as the Jedi lusted for females of great meaning. Diego also recognized her as attractive, and Gienna went as far as to suspect him of maintaining a secret affair with the housekeeper.

Relationships

Diego

Gienna: “Where Julie Taa gone?
Diego: “She must have stayed back on the station…
Gienna: “Oh. Then we gotta come back for her!

— Gienna was disappointed of the abandoning of Julie Taa.

Gienna was a good friend of Julie Taa's and, in her youth, also an informal mentor of hers. By that virtue, the elder woman encompassed her with care, e.g. when reprehending Diego, triggered after learned of his kidnapping of her, and packing her onto the forklift although the weight of her body caused problems as she completed that venture.

Gienna was also outraged the moment she learned of Julie Taa being left back on the Fide Space Station. While originally insisting on turning back in order to locate her, she eventually agreed to continue the flight, bearing in mind that her friend was not probably exposed to any danger with so many people around and that the very venture could be to risky to her and her companions. However, Gienna never found out that the abandoning of Julie Taa was a deliberate effect. While soon captivated in a cell on Unconquerable, Gienna inwardly rejoiced that her thick friend did not have to suffer the same as she did.

Diego

There was a moment I thought Julie Taa was attractive! What this alcohol makes of people…
—Diego, in an attempt to explain his previous confession

Although the factual circumstances of locking Julie Taa down in a closet onboard of Sepich were not entirely known, she herself originally suggested a kidnapping. After a moment of confusion, however, she agreed with Diego's version, according to whom the woman walked onto his ship and groped his droid.

Albeit affected by alcohol, Diego admitted that Julie Taa's substantial waist fit in with his erotic taste. That confession, as well as the two's confusion regarding the capture, induced Gienna to read their behavior into a trial to cover up an affair which could take place between them in fact.

Behind the scenes

Creation of the character

The character of Julie Taa, modeled on Julita, a character appearing in the Polish TV series Pielęgniarki (en. (Female) Nurses), was created for the needs of Stacked Story, a 2020 fanficion by a large spectrum of fanonpedists. The one responsible for the character's introduction was Mustafar29.

Controversies

The figure of Julie Taa roused many controversies among the authors of Stacked Story. According to Cashao, the character projected no personality, whereas Zyksyf insisted that she appeared like a scum monster. In the original version of the chapter by the latter, Julie Taa would die crushed down by an Imperial transporter, while the landing itself would be referred to as soft. Romantic threads involving Julie Taa, on the other hand, laid foundation for making a lot of memes.

Further fate in the out-of-universe framework

Zyksyf asserted that in Chapter 15 a plain suggestion was included that Julie Taa, ending up in Cul's hands (which was not confirmed, as her thread in Chapter 14 ends with him chasing her), was subjected to collective sexual intercourse by his friends.

Notes and references

  1. This passage originally comes from Polish, wherein the equivalent of the English adjective pregnant derives from the Polish adjective ciężki, meaning heavy. It is possible that rather than pregnant, the quotation should therefore include the word heavy, though no such assumption should be postulated until officially confirmed.
