Jorus C'baoth was a male Human who served as Jedi Master during the decades before the Clone Wars.

Biography[]

After C'baoth was promoted as Jedi master, he selected Lorana Jinzler to become his apprentice. However, Mace Windu was suspicious, but Jorus always calmed himself between the light. While C'baoth was meditating, he sent Lorana and Anakin to a station when there was a terrorist attack. When the padawans failed to stop the remote missile that targeted all the people involved in the meeting, C'baoth caught the missile in a Force grip and convinced the assembly to resolve their differences for the people of Barlok. With his success of saving the station, Jorus promoted his apprentice as a Jedi Knight. Lorana gave a small kiss, and left with Skywalker. Jorus had feelings for her.

Cloning[]

Palpatine, who was in fact Darth Sidious, sent Kinman Doriana to distract C'bath and put him to sleep. While the Jredi Master was lying down, Kinman stole a sample of his blood and use it to clone C'baoth.

When he woke up from his sleep, he didn't realize that Kinman was hear and took control over all of the ship's aspects, even going so far as to take Force-sensitive children away from their parents in the middle of the night to be trained as Jedi.

Dark Side and Redemption[]

When Outbound Flight entered the Unknown Regions, the crew was met by the Chiss picket force, which was headed by Mitth'raw'nuruodo, who contacted and boarded the vessel to meet with C'baoth. C'baoth, however, did not trust him and ordered the Chiss to leave. The Chiss leader warned him that the Chiss will attack, and they eventually did. C'baoth quickly performed a Force Meld to trick the enemy, but it was too late. C'baoth and his fellow Jedi failed to detect the Chiss forces that were sneaking in, and Thrawn managed to systematically destroy the weapon clusters of the Outbound Flight, killing almost every Jedi aboard. With the Jedi dead, C'baoth turned to the dark side when he unleashed his anger, and Force-choked Thrawn across space from Outbound Flight's bridge itself.

His apprentice tried to stop him, but Jorus told her to embrace everything, and join the dark side. Lorana fought against her own master, but C'baoth easily force pushed her into a wall. Before C'baoth was about to finish her, tears came down from her eyes, and begged him to kill her. C'baoth didn't, and turned himself back to the light. He told her to take an escape pod, and leave while he continues to handle the Chiss calmly. Lorana wanted to stay, but C'baoth hugged her, and told her he will always be with her. As Lorana took the escape pod with several survivors, C'baoth and fifty-seven of the passengers were killed when the starfighters employed a radiation bomb of Chiss design on the ship. Lorana looked back, and noticed how her master always cared for her.

Legacy[]

After Jorus C'baoth's death, his apprentice was later killed by Aurra Sing when she returned to Corusant. His spirit reunited with her, and became prophets of the light side of the force. Anakin honored Jorus and Lorana as heroes to the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic.
