Jonas Elijah Woods was born in 18 BBY on the Imperial world of Anaxes. At a young age, he and his brother Roger were enrolled into the academy and enlisted in the Imperial Navy.
In 4 ABY, Jonas was assigned to admiral Norven Loyaler's unit. However, with the deaths of Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine, the Empire collapsed, steering Norven to retreat to Aradan, Jonas loyally following him.
In 7 ABY, Jonas led an expeditionary force to join Thrawn but was instead conscripted by Thrawn. With Thrawn's death however, the Empire fell again into disarray. Jonas allied himself with his former second-in-command, Gilad Pellaeon, and joined him in the reborn Palpatine's Dark Empire.
After the collapse of Palpatine's new regime, Jonas was left once again without superior, and offered his services to various Deep Core warlords before finally joining Pellaeon again in the Imperial Remnant.
Biography[]
Service to Norven[]
Jonas was assigned to Reclaimer Fleet in 4 ABY, and his first deployment was the battle of Endor, where he served together with his brother, Roger Woods, who died during the battle.
Shortly after the Death Star II's destruction and the deaths of Darth Vader and Palpatine, chaos quickly enveloped Imperial forces as a variety of retreat orders were called. Jonas' superior officer, Norven, called for a retreat to Aradan, future capital of Norven's empire.
Jonas was joined by numerous officers who also heeded Norven's call, as the battle for Aradan was about to begin.
The Aradan Union[]
Jonas remained fiercely loyal to Norven, viewing him as his saviour and his light in a galaxy of darkness. Jonas was deployed on a couple of missions in the Cybe sector, hoping to fortify the sector against any of Norven's rivals.
In 7 ABY, when Thrawn returned to the galaxy, Jonas was selected by Norven to spearhead an expeditionary force to Thrawn, as Norven refused to unite with the Grand Admiral but did believe the Chiss might be able to achieve victory.
