Jewel was a Force-sensitive female varactyl technobeast born to Petrichor, a Sithspawn mutant created in 26 ATC by alchemist Sera Artofen and her master Darth Aivela. She was identical in appearance to her mother, even sporting the same partially crystalline beak, though her beak did eventually mutate fully. The young varactyl was adopted by Acina Waverunner in 66 ATC when she was just a few months old before being gifted to her partner, Kelsie Sayaki, as an engagement gift.
