The Jedi Temple in Icenia was the Jedi Temple for the Morsian Jedi Order. Constructed in 14 BBY after planning permission was obtained, the temple was built in Morsian architectural style and expanded numerous times as the Order continued to gain new members and so need to expand their facilities.
History[]
Construction[]
Plans for constructing a temple on one of the Morsian Protectorate Planets was thought of several years prior to the temple's construction by the exiled Jedi given sanctuary by the Morsian Empire at the end of the Clone Wars. After they had settled down, the Jedi contacted each other to create a new sect of the Jedi Order, deciding to do so on the planet Undulis, in the country of Icenia. After obtaining planning permission from the government, the Jedi constructed a temple in 14 BBY, cementing the foundation of the order.
First expansion[]
The temple was expanded once shortly after its construction, increasing its length for more internal space. The temple had basic facilities including bedrooms, a meditation room, a council room and library for what little knowledge the Jedi had managed to save.
Second expansion[]
The temple gained a new wing to its left after its second expansion, housing more rooms such as the armory, audience room and a classroom for properly teaching the new recruits the Order was gaining from exiled Jedi coming to the planet.
Third expansion[]
The third expansion occurred some time after 3 ABY, with more bedrooms being added as well as various other rooms being expanded or duplicated in the temple, suiting the requirements of the growing Order. Amongst the new rooms was a conference room and communication room, as the Order no longer needed to be in secret with the coming fall of the Galactic Empire and fall of the Sith, so they could contact the wider galaxy without fear of being hunted down by Sith inquisitors.
