Jedi Master was the highest generic rank in the Jedi Order, succeeding Jedi Knighthood. Jedi Masters were usually the best of the best in the Jedi Order, due to their superior knowledge of the Force, lightsaber combat, and their success as the Master of a Jedi Padawan.
Known Masters
There were numerous known Jedi Masters throughout history. The following individuals, sorted alphabetically by surnames, ended their time in the Jedi Order as Jedi Masters.

Supreme Jedi Master Andrew
The New Jedi Order suffered a terrible loss, when it's founder and leader Master Luke Skywalker died. His death was greatly felt throughout the entire Order itself and left a inedibly deep scar in the structure of the New Jedi Order in which he was well noted for restarting, following the defeat of and subsequent fall in; the Galactic Empire. His death was deeply felt throughout the galaxy and those of whom he had greatly influenced, as well as; aided during his service as a Jedi. So when news began to spread of the death and passing of Master Skywalker, a great void seemed to almost tear the Jedi and the order itself to shreds, or so it seemed at least.
Then his death and memory was later engraved into the history books of the Jedi Order; here it was and would remain from then on end, a testament to the Order itself and what it stood for as a result. The order was then, subsequently replaced with; a new leader and one that still remains even now as a powerful Jedi Master of the Light Side of the Force. This particular Jedi Master was an exceptionally gifted wielder of the Force—and his name is Andrew Estes.
