The Jedi Acropolis in Icenia was a Jedi site that housed various Jedi buildings for the Morsian Jedi Order. As the Order continued to expand with more and more Jedi exiles travelling in secret to Undulis to join the sect of the Order, the current Jedi Temple was deemed too small and so was expanded. These expansions of both the Temple and Order became such that more buildings were needed, giving rise to an acropolis being constructed from all the buildings. This acropolis continued to be expanded in size as more outbuildings were constructed to house the various facilities the Order needed.

History[]

Foundation[]

The Jedi Acropolis was founded after the main temple, as up until that point the acropolis was not needed due to the recent foundation of the Order sect and small size of the temple. However, as the Order grew and the temple expanded, more and more space was needed, and more outbuildings needed to support the Order. It was decided to dedicate space to these buildings and house them in one place, giving rise to the acropolis.

Continuous expansion[]

The acropolis was initially small at first, with just the temple and an outbuilding. It continued to grow, however, as the Order rapidly grew in size, more and more buildings were also built, requiring a constant expansion to the acropolis. The buildings were placed as close together as were reasonable, but more land was still taken up for the acropolis based on future expansion plans.

Buildings[]

The main centrepiece of the acropolis was the Jedi Temple, the original building that was constructed by the Order. The Temple underwent several expansions and was the cause of the eventual construction of the acropolis around it. The Temple was the first thing people saw when walking down the road to the acropolis, being the largest building present.

Alongside the Temple were several outbuildings, smaller temples that acted as separate facilities or storage. They were essentially miniture versions of the Temple, with the same architectural style.

There were also several smaller circular shrines that were both open and closed. They were only a single, circular room but were a place of meditation or congregation, if one of the open shrines.

There was a single Morsian road leading to the acropolis which led to the Jedi Village, the only pathway to the acropolis.
