“Above all, she taught me the importance of knowing that a Jedi’s strength does not come through knowing how to slice through enemies on the battlefield, but through the strength of their character and the convictions with which they wield the blade of a Jedi.”―Jhon Cordatus, who trained under Jayda Hal[src]
Jayda Hal was a female Zabrak Jedi Knight who trained Jhon Cordatus as a Jedi beginning in 968 ABY. She was a Jedi Guardian who taught that a Jedi's strength of character was more important than their combat strength. Cordatus would go on to become Grand Master of the New Jedi Order, and he credited Hal as a major influence in his life.
