A stoic individual, Jarrus was known to not smile often, but did take joy and conviction in the protection and care of the people of the galaxy.

Tutored at Duur's institution, Jarrus learned how to harness his potential in the Force. He favored telekinesis in combat, preferring to remove opposition's offensive capabilities without drawing his own weapon. He was not above direct action.

He owned two lightsabers, one of which carried a yellow blade and came to possess a suit of Mandalorian armor with an attached kama.
