Jaro Finn was the only son of infamous Imperial admiral Elgar Finn. Born in 20 ABY to Elgar and Mary Finn, he was raised in the Finn estate on Bastion. His name got him enrolled into the best academies and by 40 ABY, he had entered service with the Imperial Navy, captaining the Right to Rule as his father once had.

Jaro actively participated in the Second Galactic Civil War, aging only twenty years old at the time, he commanded the remains of the Right to Rule Fleet during Operation Wrath.

Biography[]

Birth and Early Life[]

Jaro was born in 20 ABY on Bastion, three years after his his father retired. On the age of five, he enrolled into a rather prestigious, private school, owing to his last name. While the Moff Council only viewed his father with infancy, Elgar was regarded as something of a hero on Bastion.

Being raised in the Finn estate, Jaro was often isolated from all but his parents.

At the age of twenty, Jaro graduated the Imperial Naval Academy and, rather ironically, was placed in charge of the Right to Rule, the ship his father commanded for over two decades.

Second Galactic Civil War[]

Operation Wrath[]

Main article: Operation Wrath

Graduating in 40 ABY, the renewed Galactic Civil War was in full swing. The Moff Council placed Jaro in charge of the Right to Rule Fleet, despite their misgivings about the son. At the beginning of the Second Galactic Civil War, Jaro masterminded Operation Wrath, a plan to cut deep into Confederation territory.

The operation opened with an attack on Awfion, which served as storage depot for the Confederation. During this battle, he encountered the old nemesis and enemy of his father, Hector Azimuth, who had apparently rented out his services to Thracken Sal-Solo. Jaro defeated his nemesis after a rough battle, and the Moff Council rapidly laid claim to planet.

Following their victory over Awfion, Jaro led a quick assault on Ruan, hoping to cut through the Deep Core to reach Columus. The Remnant enjoyed a swift victory, and continued on their way.

While celebrating victory over Ruan, the ensuing battle over Columus put an end to the operation and routed Jaro's forces, forcing them to retreat to Imperial territory for recovery and repairs. The Right to Rule suffered heavy damage while most of the fleet was destroyed.

Imperial reinforcements[]

The remains of the fleet assembled at Yaga Minor, however only the Right to Rule, the Eager Action and the Solitude made the retreat. At Gravlex Med, the fleet was reinforced by the Finest Strike, the Oblivious, the Serpent and the Hot Blood. The remainder of the fleet was forced out of the war, however.

After the war[]

His father's convoluted legacy and fate led to many conflicts between Jaro and the Moff Council, which in turn resulted in Jaro's gross disregard for Imperial politics. The imminence of Jagged Fel years earlier awoke little interest in Jaro, until instability enveloped the Galactic Alliance in the months following the Second Galactic Civil War. His interest was particularly peaked when it became apparent Fel and the Moff Council had become rivals.

Opposed to unification in particular, Jaro was greatly hesitant to support Fel due to their differing values. However, the Council's continued jarring behavior to Jaro and his family drove the Finns into the arms of Fel.

Under the Fel Empire[]

With Jagged's ascension to the Imperial throne, the government was finally legitimized and established Jagged's position over the Moff Council. Poor relations between the Council and the Finn family construed to a challenging situation for the new emperor as on one hand, the Moff Council's wishes to account for but on the other hand, Jaro's near flawless career in the Imperial Navy. The situation came to a head after the Lost Tribe of Sith emergence and resulted in a settlement: Jaro would continue his service to the remnant but with little chance of promotion, at the same time, Jaro would no longer only be relegated to patrol duties.

Jaro was a proponent to the Victory Without War campaign the Empire issued during Jagged's reign.

By 66 ABY, Jaro had met his wife and fathered two children, Sarah and Reinard Finn.

In 78 ABY, Jaro married his wife, Evienn Finn.

By 128 ABY, Jaro had died.
