Private Jamie F. Ryans was part of the Naboo Security Forces Resistance movement. He was put in charge of the group by Captain Panaka. He was later captured and killed by the Trade Federation.

The name is a play off the movie character James Francis Ryan from the film Saving Private Ryan.
