—Captain Cook against Admiral Trench's naval forces during the battle of Albion.

James Cook (Service Tag: 1728-7-1779-JC) was a legendary Human male metronian naval officer war veteran in the UNSC Navy, the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. Grew up in a family of naval officers, James greow in the Metronian capital on Metro, where he attained the Metronian High Academy and into the Metronian Officer Academy and become a officer cadet where he was stationed on the UNSC Unification, a Delta-class Star Destroyer during the war against the Martians, and duirng the Clone Wars, where he made a disapperance on the Unification halfway into the clone wars, listed as MIA before redesignated as KIA with the ship by Emperor Palpatine.

During the war, as Officer Cadet he was trained at the Academy before officially becoming a commissioned officer where he was promoted to the rank of Midshipman, being sent to the UNSC Unification to provide support to the ship during the war. As the war raged on, he was promoted like any other, upon attaining the rank of Ensign, Unification took drasitic and severe damaged below deck, causing vacuum and destruction in the lower hangars. Due to James overwhelming calm demeanour and judgement, the ship was able to evacuate all injuried and seal of sections of the ship, even putting out fires that may caused one of the two reactors to overheat. This earned him the rank of Sub-lieutenant in service in the ship's bridge as a communication officer. During the battle of Lordaeron, he was unofficially promoted to Lieutenant Commander by the orders of the captain, who died when the Unification was infiltrated, and was tasked in leading the Campaign of Lordaeron as a whole. Taking charge, James was proven very tactical and observant, allowing him to take control of many regions on the planet, and with reiforcements took the planet from the Martians. His act of great commandship of a vessel and a entire campaign earned his promotion to captain by UNSC Naval Command with the agreement of UNSC High Command, becoming Unification's new captain.

As the captain, James was in the Third Fleet, a fleet used to wage a devestating battle in Martian territory, performing the campaign of the Tars star system. James would provide military support in ground and aerial, and even providing ODSTs. Helped by the UNSC Titanic during the space battle of Tars IV, the Unification suffered a devestating blow with a particle accelerator cannon. Deemed lost, James ordere DEFCON I and began evacuation procedures. Entering drop pods, James designated landing coordinates on Tars IV, and later served on the ground at the fob where he provided and coordinate naval operations before pick up. Tars IV was eventually taken by the UNSC 5 years later, by which James soon take command of the first Delta-class Star Destroyer referred as the UNSC Isolation, that would later continue well into the final phases of the Martian War itself under his command, being one of the vessel at the battle of Mars during the final campaign.

After the war finally concluded, James was then assigned in sending in supplies and garrsions in destroyed worls and in the attempt to take out any remnant of the Martians. He sooned encountered a CIS Providence-class carrier entered UNSC space and began a combat engagement towards the Isolation, forcing James into battlestations. Thankfully resupplied, Isolation was able to take out the Providence-class carrier, with two Venator-class star destroyers soon entering the system from hyperspace. With the development of the Clone Wars, UNSC aligned with the Republic and sends in James under Republic authority and got command of a Venator-class star destroyer which he called the Isolation II.

Having taken command of a Venator, he soon would also reinforce worlds and perform campaigns alongside the 200th Brigade, an clone trooper militry brigade lead by Jedi General Traa Yalrec and Jedi Commander Arthur Pendragon, who he soon work closely upon during operations. He also works very closely towards Iota Squad alongside many of others units throughout the early years of the Clone Wars. Including crashing landing onto a hostile world when they were shot down by unidentified attackers. Even on the planet filled with creatures that could easily slice a man in two, James commanded and lead the 200th and many other units on his ship, giving them information and navigational data for them use to fight against the hostile CIS forces on the planet, and the creatures. He soon also gave them intell on the Combine Commission that began to attack both CIS and themselves. For over half a year without anyway to leave the planet, thanks to Iota, they hijacked a CIS cruiser and was able to finally return to Republic space, at the cost of the Jedi General Traa Yalrec and Iota Squad being left behide on the planet. Returned to the Republic, he was given special permission to use his Delta-class Star Destroyer, the UNSC Isolation for futher operations. However, halfway into the Phase II era of the clone troopers, he and along with his entire crew was designated as missing-in-action and after the execution of Order 66, listed as lost with all hands.
