Jaden Korr was a female Force-sensitive Jedi Padawan from Coruscant. Being rather strong with the Force, she managed to create a lightsaber of her own with no help. After that she was taken to Jedi Praxeum on Yavin IV. Korr was a cousin to Senator Liora

Childhood[]
Jaden was born in 10 BBY on Coronet, Corellia to Salma Tie Korr and Rei-in Korr. Rie-in Korr was a bar-owner on Coronet. The bar was family's heritage and has seen more prosperous times. Since the rise of the Empire the business went down. But even in those days of darkness moments of happiness occurred. When the child was born to the Korrs with no hesitation named her after her great-grand mother Jaden, a wealthy Corellian merchant. The Korr family had always been looking for adventures and chose different provoking professions like journalism, for example. Though willing to bring Jaden up in an atmosphere of stillness, Rei-in and Salma helped the remaining Jedi traced by the Empire and one day payed for it. The Jedi Di Nkee and 6-year-old Jaden survived, however. The fact that Jaden was force sensitive didn't escape Di's attention. Though upon finding out that the little thing had relatives on Coruscant he decided to bring the child to her relative's house and return for her when better times come. "Jaden, you know you have a good potential." "Why drop me on strangers then?" "To come back when it is safe."
So Jaden was brought to the house of Tia Korr Naio and Jor Naio, her aunt and uncle. The two didn't have a child of their own and gave all love they had to Jaden, and their pet droid. She was taught sciences and creative writing. Jor Nao was a historian for one of the Coruscanti archives. For years Jaden has been willing to become a historian but remembering the Jedi that caused her parent's death though saved her. She's been asking herself if he has still been alive, not knowing that he died in rancor's jaws.

Fourteen years after the Battle of Yavin, Jaden Korr, after constructing a lightsaber with no prior knowledge of the Force or aid, was brought from her homeworld of Coruscant and taken to the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4. During the ride she met Rosh Penin, who would be appointed to Master Katarn alongside Korr by Luke Skywalker.
