Jacem Ri was a Quarren male Jedi master who survived the Great Jedi Purge, and helped to train a new generation of Jedi, joining the New Jedi Order.
Biography[]
Jacem was the brother of Quarren Leader: Nossor Ri. He was sent to the Jedi by his parents when he was young to be trained as a Jedi, serving the Jedi Order. He was later part of the Geonosis strike team to rescue two Jedi and a senator. He survived that battle, though was not in the survivor's circle. He was given a battalion of clones during the Clone Wars, however toward the end, following Palpatine's order, they turned on him. Luckily, he was friends with the native warriors, who helped him kill the clones, and allowed him to escape. He later joined the rebellion, and was, amazingly, never caught. After the Purge, he joined the New Jedi Order, and helped to train a new generation of jedi.
Personality and Traits[]
Yingbar was, being a jedi, calm and collected at most times. However when he found out about the death of his brother, Nossor, his connection with the force weakened. Fortunately, he eventually managed to forge it into something very large. Although at later times, when he learned of fellow Jedi deaths, especially ones he new well, such as Ma'kis'shaalas, Jacem's mind became clouded. However, a Jedi master he met unclouded it, and his force connection became strong once again. Jacem wielded two lightsabers, a blue one, and a purple one. The purple was useful when he had to duel Sith, because he could use their anger against them. He was a Quarren, though he had the rare gift of white skin, which was considered very lucky to the Quarren, and was usually a sign of force-sensitivity, especially when the skin contained splotches of other colors. Jacem wore a white jedi tunic with blue accents, very similar to his skin color. He was trained by the late Master Ord Enisence prior to Enisence being killed by Cad Bane.
