Jabba, also known as Jabba the Hutt, was a male Hutt who lived on Tatooine in a large palace on the top of a hill. The palace was a converted monastery built by an ancient race, and later occupied by the Bo'marr Monks.
In a pit underneath the throne room, Jabba kept a pet rancor, who was subject to an unfortunate door malfunction, which pinned the rancor to the floor after Jabba had thrown two Secret Agent Men, Bob and Joe, into the pit for desecrating his Blue Milk Happy Hour. The rancor was replaced with a mutated nerf when Jabba's technicians could not figure out how to use the technology the door used.
