Ivran Gresev was the commander-in-chief of the Srav Federation's military forces. Cold and calculating, he was a fairly proficient commander, but was quite arrogant, and somewhat unstable. He was also one of the few who could speak his mind to the leader of the Federation, Jasef Yuiln. He played a part in the Cruentusian War, as the most prominent Srav general. Not much was known about his past, other than he had been a slave of the Rataka on Sviat. He gained infamy for being the one who ordered the nuking of Cul-Huq.
Towards the end of the war, he decided that Yuiln was unfit for rule, and launched a coup, executing Yuiln himself. With that, Gresev established himself as leader, claiming that Yuiln had been assassinated by enemy spies, and launched purges. However, he forced Srav heroine Nataska Vergulva to flee, inciting resentment against him in her.
Shortly afterward, Vergulva would fulfill her vengeance by personally killing Gresev at the final battle of the war
