The Ivellios, formerly known as the Decimator, was the personal flagship of I-vel Sha'an during part of his time as Senator of Corulag, in the Galactic Alliance. It saw battle a number of times, under its original purpose, as an Imperial warship, but only once under the ownership of I-vel Sha'an.

History[]

The Ivellios began its life in the Kuat Drive Yards, commissioned originally by the Galactic Empire in 2 BBY, to serve as the personal flagship of Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. However, while it was being delivered to him at the Death Star 1, it became cuaght up in The First Battle of Acralia, against the Hutt occupants of Acralia, who were attempting to secede from the Empire. Upon the death of Tarkin, 2 years later, the Decimator, as it was known at the time, was transferred to the Imperial navy, under command of Captain Piett, before he was moved to Executor. For 4 years, the Decimator participated in basic assaults, such as the Battle of Hoth, The Battle of Chandrila, and the Battle of Endor.

After surviving the Battle of Endor, the Decimator was captured by the Rebel Alliance, and made use of, for many battles, until when, in 31 ABY, the Star Destroyer was given to I-vel Sha’an, Senator of Corulag, as a token of appreciation of his hand in the victory of the Battle of Endor (aiding in persuading the Mon Calamari to give their Mon Calamari cruisers to the cause). I-vel renamed the ship the Ivellios, meaning enlightenment, pertaining to the restoration of the Republic. He then removed all legions of TIE fighters and melted them down, before replacing them with a different, more modern make of starfighter, which was, ironically, a later version of the TIE design. I-vel also converted some of the officers’ quarters into personal spaces, such as meeting rooms, and elegant suites for himself and his entourage. Under Rekk Munsk, captain of The Ivellios, The ship saw battle only once, during the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion, in protection of Corulag. The ship also carried 34 Galactic Senators from the Senate Building to Chandrila in 30 ABY, in escape of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of Coruscant.

After the death of I-vel Sha’an, Rekk Munsk retired the ship, due to overwhelming costs and labour. It was then donated to the Corulag Museum, where it remained for 15 years, when, in 58 ABY, it was melted into scrap metal and sold off.
