Ivan Zhylunovich was a human male major in the Internal Safeguards Division, the secret police of the Galactic Empire. Born on Coruscant, he was an orphan living in the underlevels before being recruited by the ISD as an informant. He became a commando in the ISD in 2 BBY, upon turning seventeen years old. Ivan served the Empire with loyalty throughout the Galactic Civil War, later serving under Grand Admiral Thrawn after the deaths of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. Following his death, the ISD was dismantled, but Ivan served under the reborn Palpatine in the Imperial Army Intelligence.
