The Invisi-Belt was a belt that contained a device within the buckle that could be activated to turn the wearer invisible. It was a gadget that was created by MI5's Q'u Branch for the purpose of aiding MI5 agents in the field. It used the same technology as SMERSH's carbon-eye device.

After SMERSH operative Pots Putnyocus was killed in 42 BBY, Q'u Branch acquired the carbon-eye device Dr. Noah had built into Pots.
Q'u Branch then used the carbon-eye technology to build it's own gadget, the Invisi-Belt. Rebuilding a smaller version, a miniature rotating electromagnetic generator was placed into the buckle of the belt that would create a small electromagnetic field which would then be manipulated to interact with the EM field of the planet's atmosphere and distort light, allowing the wielder to "disappear" from sight. The wielder would still be there in space, but would be invisible to the naked eye.

Q'u using the Invisi-Belt
After many successful tests, Q'u was forced to use the Invisi-Belt in 41 BBY during the first attempt at reprogramming the replica droid Digika.
The droids memory wipe triggered a fail-safe that activated, sending Digika on a rampage through Q'u Branch. Using the Invisi-Belt, Q'u hid himself from Digika's sight and was able to shut down the droid manually.
When Jasper Fondorball infiltrated and took over MI5 Headquarters in 32 BBY, Shasta Moonreaper used the Invisi-Belt to sneak around the building unnoticed. It was damaged in a fight.
