The Inque were an advanced group of beings who were able to change form because of their bodies that were made out of ink. But because of this they could never get near or touched by water, if they did, they would dissolve and die. During the Old Republic the Inque had made a pact with the Sith. But the Sith broke the pact by kidnapping some of Inqua's people and turning them into either slaves or Sith Assassins. They used the assassins to try to get to Queen Steelina to kill her but each attack failed except the last one. A Sith had managed to get inside the Palace and fought the Queen's guards. But jus when the guards were about to kill the assassin, she had managed to shoot the glass above, allowing the rain outside to come in, dissolving the Queen and her guards. But security came in and killed the assassin. But before the attack some Inque scientists had developed a warhead that would destroy the Sith's base. When they shot the missile, the base exploded killing everyone inside but one of the assassins escaped leading to the Queen's death.

Shortly after the Queen's death, her Great-Granddaughter, Queen Bree, inherited the throne and became the Queen of Inqua for 101 years. But after those 101 years, the Queen's daughter, Talia, had hired an assassin to kill her mother. The assassin succeeded, but came back to Talia only to receive a quick death. Talia had killed the assassin so no one would find out that she was the one behind her mother's death. But instead her inheriting the throne her cousin, Katrina, did. So, she broke into her chambers trying to kill her cousin but Katrina could overhear her outside and called her guards. And they killed her on the spot.
