Inqua was the home of the Inque, the Chameleon, and the Hammer Shark. It was with the Jedi for many years, except for a year during the time of the Old Republic. Queen Steelina had signed a peace treaty with the Sith but, when the Sith kidnapped many of Inqua's people, the treaty was broken. The planet's largest and capital city was Sharkla, named after their goddess, Sharka. The city was built in 1,000 BBY by King Zaa.
History[]
Old Republic[]
Rise of the Hutt Cartel[]
During the Old Republic, the Hutt kajidic clan, Fortiure, came to Inqua to live and run business on the planet, or most commonly known as:"The Rise of the Hutt Cartel". Once the Fortiures came, other Hutt clans such as, Anjiliac, and Besadii, started to come to Inqua to use the planet as one of the many Outer Rim Territories as a Cartel base. After a number of Inque diplomats and undercover police were found killed in Inqua's key cities, Sharkla and Cameleon, the queen started a full investigation throughout all known Hutt Cartel locations. Eventually, they found the Hutt's leader's, Nem'ro Desilijic Fortiure, Mika Desilijic Fortiure, and a few others. They had a large number of Inqua's police raid the Hutt's monasteries and arrest them. But Nem'ro, Mika, and a few others managed to escape. Though a few Hutts still remained on Inqua, the Hutt Cartel soon left Inqua.
Clone Wars[]
Battle of Inqua[]
During the Clone Wars, there was only one battle on Inqua, and that was the Battle of Inqua. The Separatists, led by Neimoidian Lankty Dofine, had invaded Inqua to poison the planet's water and test a new weapon on the planet.
