The Imperial Special Forces, also known as Imperial SpecForces, though occasionally called the 301st, was an elite force of troops in the New Galactic Empire's Imperial Army. They specialized in infiltration, recon, targeted killing, retrieval, and were called in to battles when the tide turned against the Empire. They were competitive with the Imperial Special Operations group.
History[]
The Special Forces were formed in 18 ABY, but it is unknown if they were on any missions at the time.
They fought against Kleef's Pirate gang in the Outer Rim Territories in 60 ABY, and succeeded, killing all of the pirates and destroying their ship.
Later, they fought against the Acolean Empire in the Acolean-Imperial War.

The Imperial Special Forces was made of 9 different regiments that had different roles and specialized in different missions.
1st Special Forces Regiment[]
The 1st Special Forces Regiment was the first unit, and specialized in fighting on planetary surfaces.
2nd Special Forces Regiment[]
The 2nd Special Forces Regiment was a unit that specialized in zero gravity combat vessel boarding.
3rd Special Forces Regiment[]
The 3rd Special Forces Regiment was a unit that was the main unit, and was seen guarding SpecForces vessels, fighting on land, water and space, and many other missions.
4th Special Forces Regiment[]
The 4th Special Forces Regiment was a guard unit that guarded vessels, bases, and other key Imperial sites.
5th Special Forces Regiment[]
The 5th Imperial Forces Regiment was the second biggest unit and specialized in infiltration, search and rescue, and intelligence retrieval.
6th Special Forces Regiment[]
The 6th Special Forces Regiment was a small unit that was stationed at different Imperial military academies across the galaxy and trained SpecForces cadets.
7th Special Forces Regiment[]
The 7th Special Forces Regiment was a medium sized unit that was an officer unit, made up of officers and veteran commanders who were in charge of the SpecForces operations.
8th Special Forces Regiment[]
The 8th Special Forces Regiment was a starfighter unit in the SpecForces. The fought against the Acolean Empire in the Battle in the Important System.
9th Special Forces Regiment[]
The 9th Special Forces Regiment was a SpecForces unit that was made up of Shadow stormtroopers and Shadow Guards. They fought in the Battle in the Important System.
