As the Imperial Navy we patrol and protect our great empire from enemy invaders, as members of the Navy we are the first line of defence of the empire, we share a close brotherhood with out Bregaran navy brothers, we defend our empire together.
—An Ingzan sailor on the Imperial Navy

The Imperial Navy (Ingzan: Ímpírá Néví, Bregaran: Enkotoko Neyokugen) of the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire was the navy which defended and patrolled the colonies and was the successor to the Confederate Navy of the Ingzan-Bregaran Confederation, which was transformed into the Empire as soon as the Bregaro and Ingza had taken there first colonies in 33,025 BBY

The Navy was led by the "Imperial Flagship", in 1,023 ABY, when the Bregaro and Ingza opened relations with the Galactic Federation of Sentient Species, they purchased designs and a licence to locally build the Pellaeon-class star destroyer from Kuat Drive Yards, which became the Kysa-class battleship, the Imperial Flagship was the Kysa, the lead ship of the Kysa-class.

44 years later in 1,067 ABY the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire bought designs and a licence to build the Imperious-class star destroyer from Mon Calamari Shipyards, this became the V'ei'ka-class battleship. The lead ship of the class, the V'ei'ka replaced the 44 year old Kysa as the flagship of the Imperial Navy.

Aside from star destroyers the Imperial Navy also showed interested in other types of ship like the Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser, which was licence built primarily by the Bregarans as the Olzida Azzgaat-kraaz hoyakals dedooana. The production of star ships was almost split between the two races, the Ingza would make medium and heavier star destroyers (e.g. the V'ei'ka-class battleship, a licence-built Imperious-class star destroyer clone) and the Bregaro smaller star destroyers and non-star destroyer ships (e.g. the Daanakaka-class cruiser, a licence-built clone of the Ardent-class fast frigate and the Olzida Azzgaat-class heavy cruiser, a licence-built clone of the Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser).

The Imperial Navy also ran space stations, there were 150 starship-producing and maintaining space stations spread through-out the Empire, like Anvil Station with numerous other defence, transport and rest stations for Navy personnel to go when on leave if they wanted.
