The Imperial Mystic Orders were an informal name given to the Force-sensitive Organizations of the First Galactic Empire and the second, they follow the Dark side of the Force and worship the Force as a whole. They believed that through worshipping at the foot of the Imperial Throne, acquiring victory and sacrificing themselves in service to the Emperor and the Force, they obtained greater power.
History[]
The First of the Imperial Mystic Orders were gradually formed over a period of nine thousand years before the fall of the First Empire, an answer to many Force-sensitives coming forward to be taught by the first century of Emperors that led the Empire. Eventually, the Force-sensitives were relegated into three Orders: the Imperial Matriarchs, the Imperial Champions and the Imperial High Shamans.
Each world in the Galactic Empire were initially run by a Triumvirate of Matriarchs, Champions and Shamans. However, following the collapse of the Empire, the Second Empire abandoned this method of rule.
The Second Empire had a number of Force-sensitive Organizations, but the three primary were the Imperial Archons, Imperial Knights and the Imperial Prophets. There were a number of subordinate roles, e.g. the Inquisitorius were subordinates to the Imperial Prophets.
Behind the Scenes[]
These Dark side Orders were largely inspired off the Force-sensitive Orders of the Eternal Empire, SWTOR's Knights of the Fallen Empire, and its sequel, Knights of the Eternal Throne. Unlike the classical Sith, they did not believe in hoarding their knowledge and means to power, but sharing it.
