Imperial Expansionism was the given name to the series of conflicts fought by the First Galactic Empire following the Grand Security Doctrine proposed in the Imperial Senate to conquer outlying and autonomous sectors throughout the Galaxy.

The Trans-Rimma Pacification Campaign was a campaign waged by the Galactic Empire to annex the Trans-Rimma region of the Outer Rim so as to prevent possibly incursions by radical factions within the independent nations of the region. The region suffered severely from the 1927 - 1930 Recession which resulted in an upstart in radical anti-Imperial activity that the Empire sought to suppress. Over the 3 year conflict the Empire successfully brought the region under its control.
