House Robb was an influential noble house originating on the planet Taris, who trace their lineage back to the famous warlord and self-proclaimed king, The Robb. From 176 BNR to 172 BNR, Illon Robb served as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, but his tenure was not noteworthy. By the time of the Clone Wars, House Robb was represented in the Galactic Senate by Kin Robb, the eldest daughter and second child of the Governor of Taris, Pascor Robb. Heir to the family was Adar Robb, the oldest child, and their younger daughter Nuyri Robb married into House Voti, another prominent house, by marrying Clas Voti.
Some prominent senators, such as Tynnra Pamlo later on, wore amulets in memory of the Robb, and in some cases Kin Robb herself, who was assassinated following the Galactic Empire's creation. However, the family lived on through her siblings.
History[]
Foundation[]
House Robb can trace its roots back to the legendary figure of Taris known as "The Robb." He was a warlord in the early days of Taris who ravaged the underground cities and named himself "King of Taris." Eventually, the Robb was defeated but his children lived on as an upper-class family. Illon Robb, many millennia later, was Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, from 176 to 172 BNR.[1]
Clone Wars and beyond[]
At least two generations later, Pascor Robb and Nelani Robb were the patriarch and matriarch of the family—and had four children. Their eldest son, Adar, was the heir to their properties and businesses, and was involved with the politics of their homeworld.[1] Kin Robb, their eldest daughter, became a senator in the Galactic Senate, representing Taris, and was also a part of the Council of Neutral Systems.[2]
The second son, Palon, became a businessman galactically. The youngest daughter, Nuyri, married Clas Voti of House Voti, another prominent Tarisian noble family. She had a daughter, Hetha Robb-Voti, who elected to keep the family names of both her parents.[1]
Following the end of the Clone Wars, Kin Robb was assassinated, in part due to her stance against the Galactic Empire, and became a driving force for Tarisian opposition against the Empire,[1] exemplified in her successor, Tynnra Pamlo, and her work with the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[3]
